Practical Guide to Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations Paperback – 10 Nov. 2015

This book (and it's previous versions) are brilliant for both those studying ( did my 2391 on the back of this) and qualified sparks who are on the tools. As a reference source or even just to brush up on techniques or technical details I find myself browsing it more than I'd like to admit. The language is the main selling point, easy and clear without all the IET b####cks that some books (and I've got plenty) tend to copy this is easy to understand and has real world tips that can only be put across by someone who's actually stood at a CU scratching his head while working out what a certain test result means (and who hasn't). If you're a fully paid up, jumped up, regs quoting know it all then like you keep telling everyone you won't need this. If you're a normal spark/trainee who want's a well written refrence then buy it. Simple as.

A very helpful addition if you're sitting the C&G 2394/2395 exams, read it slowly and understand it.

I bought this book only a few days ago and thought I'd write a review. I bought this to go alongside my electrical training I'm doing at the moment and it is really clearly written and easy to understand, I've got other electrical books where they're so baffling and hard to understand. Also in the book there are QR codes that you scan and it will take you to videos of the author showing you the main tests in the book which was a nice bonus I wasn't expecting!
