Alice's Adventures in Wonderland: The perfect gift with super-sized pop-ups!

I originally came across the Dinosaur pop-up book and bought it for my son. He absolutely loved it as I do. The books are incredibly intricate and relatively sturdy. The artwork is astonishing and the way the images fold out to create complex 3d pictures is magical. How these books are designed from the original conception to the final product, I have no idea but the effect is amazing. There are usually four main pages that contain the main image that folds out and immediately takes your attention. Thee are also three or four sub-pages or mini books on each page that fold out, in turn, providing even more 3d pictures. The additional writing produces a high level of detail and content to produce a richly satisfying book that both I and my son constantly revisit. They also make perfect presents with a difference! I was so impressed that I have been collecting all the pop-up books by Robert Sabuda.

This pop up book is amazing. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition as usual by amazon- truly one of the best stores out there! The pops are imaginative and beautiful to look at creating a truly immersive book. I'm sure most people love the Alice in wonderland story and this book provides an interactive way to enjoy it that kids of all ages will love. Well worth the money (and it was cheaper on amazon than I had seen elsewhere as well!)

Wow!!! I bought this for a 7 year old neice for Christmas as I'm hoping she's old enough to take care of it as well as fully appreciate it..... I have yet to find out but I was totally blown away how fantastic it is to the point of wishing I could keep it for myself. Its beautifully illustrated and the pop-ups are amazing. Even the separate smaller storys have their own little pop ups which was completely unexpected. Although this was a little expensive, after seeing it I think it's totally worth it. You won't be disappointed. One negative is that it could have been packaged with a little more cushioning inside the box. It was left outside my house, behind a bin, on its side and the side of the book looked a tiny bit crumpled. Thankfully it's smoothed out so I'm very relieved but that has nothing to do with the quality of the book just delivery and packaging.

This isnt cheap, but it deserves every penny! This makes other pop up books look lame. The art work alone is beautiful, but the way that it lifts up into a 3D representation of themes in the story is incredible. I've never seen a book like it. Not just the classic story, but something very special to keep and pass on to younger children as the years go by. I don't begrudge one penny of the money I spent and my granddaughter loves it so much. Bravo! More like this, please!

I have a small collection of popup books, nominally to help my little brother get excited about reading. This is probably the best one I own. The art is outstanding and the pop ups are elaborate and detailed. Every page has one main popup, and then several mini pages with smaller pop ups as the story progresses. There are some fun details beyond just pop ups as well. Highly recommend this. Note that the book is an abridged version of the original story.

Livro lindíssimo, já tinha o livro pop-up da Bela e a Fera, em português, e queria adquirir todos os demais títulos da coleção mas até o momento não foi possível. De qualquer forma é um presente surpreendente, seja para uma senhorinha como eu, quanto mais para uma criança que precisa se habituar a manipular livros físicos.

You have to be gentle with this incredible work of art in a book. Don't give it to very little kids, there are a lot of tiny and delicate paper parts. Gorgeous, any adult who loves Alice would adore this as a gift.
