Are these spoons magnetic?

The spoons do not have any magnetic properties. Because they are stainless steel they do not react to a magnetic source either.

Can these be used to stir very hot liquid (melted wax) without damage to the spoon?

I don't think stirring hot wax would damage the spoon, but it would require some effort to clean.

For the black color, does it rub off?

No, it doesn't rub off. Beause it made of premium of 304 stainless steel in polished, with superb durability and corrosion resistance. Thank you. Briout Customer Service
