Alexander tries his hand at behaving in this hilarious companion to the bestselling classic Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day . Last night somebody ate a whole box of jelly donuts. That somebody woke up with a terrible bellyache, and that somebodyโs mom found the empty box and told that somebody that there are going to be consequences. That somebody is Alexander, and Alexander really hates consequences. So from now on, he is going to try his best to be the Best Boy Ever. For the complete and entire rest of his life. Starting right this very minute. But there are all sorts of things that you canโt do when youโre being the Best Boy Ever. Fun things. Very important things. Things that Alexander mightโ just mightโlike a little bit more than he hates consequences. Review: Cute Book! - Adore this book! Review: Judith Viorst makes behavior struggles real for children who sometime struggle with social behavior. - Recently purchased this for a great nephew who is on the autism spectrum and struggles sometimes with behavior problems. He's a sweet boy and needs to know that others struggle, too.

We love Alexander
My 4yo fell in love with Horrible Day, so I figured he would enjoy this title. It hasnโt been quite the hit I expected. There are more words per page, he wants to turn to the next picture before I can finish reading. It might be one we have to grow into.

Cute but wordy.
This is a cute book. We really like the other Alexander books. This one seems way wordier than the others. My 6 year old got a bit bored at times but the story is cute and follows the theme of the others. He understood it and weโve read it a few times now.
