CK Re-threading Tool M3.5x0.6

Worked perfectly to rethread busted screw lugs on some 30 year old wall boxes in our house. Super efficient - just gently push it in, turn and voila - you could screw face plates again. Absolute bargain compared with the cost and mess of extracting the box from the wall, putting new one in and rewiring everything. Looking at the amount of time and money involved - this nifty tool already paid for itself. Now proudly stored in my electrical socket box now

Backbox rethreading tool, as an electrician this little re-threading tool is faultless and always a good get out of jail free card. Have used for years and now replacing as i lost the last one. Grip is comfortable and the pointed self centering tip is handy. Not much else to say about this product as its simple, reliable and cheap. Seems durable but thats its not a tool used every day but when its needed its perfect for a quick fix.

Bought the M4 version to chase the threads on kitchen cabinet knobs some clever person had wrecked by fitting them using wood screws. Worked perfectly so I don't have replace every knob in my kitchen as I fix the 3 damaged ones. I think the knobs are brass. Can't speak to the longevity of the product as only used it twice so far which is why I've given it four stars. Buying this was cheaper than 20-odd knobs.

I needed to fix a cross threaded back box, this worked a treat.

This tool has saved a lot of time when dealing with damaged or tight M3.5 threads, especially in electrical back boxes and accessories. It cleans and restores threads easily, allowing screws to go in smoothly again without forcing or replacing the box. The build quality is excellent, and it feels solid and precise. The handle is comfortable and gives good control when re-threading. It’s a simple tool, but incredibly useful and worth having in the kit. Definitely a lifesaver for electrical maintenance work.

Excellent and handy tool for re-threading metal boxes that are causing cross threads on the metal boxes.

The only problem with this tool is it's difficult to get back if you lend it to someone. It's a handy size and fixes crossthreaded back boxes easily. Just remember to reverse direction as the thread is recut to alow swarf to clear.

Arrived ahead of time, happy with the price; just the job.

Musste ein M3 Gewinde auf M4 "Nachschneiden" war zum Glück recht weiches Alu. Aber funktionierte sehr gut und für meine Verwendung war es top.

Molto utile. Da tenerlo sempre nella borsa degli attrezzi per interventi nelle scatole elettriche. Quando le viti fanno fatica ad entrare, fermarsi ed utilizzare l'attrezzo. Usarlo con movimenti delicati alternati per non fare errori di tolleranza.
