The Philosopher's Way: Thinking Critically About Profound Ideas Fourth Edition (MyThinkingLab Series)

I loved the book and for being used this company is true to there word. Other than a couple of passages highlighted it was in almost new condition.

Generally, philosophy books are very wordy and over the top obnoxious in the way things are worded. While this book contains some of that for samples from various philosophers - the actual explanations and summaries are not the typical verbose philosophical rants.As a result, I would say that this is a pretty good book for a class. Though I typically don't enjoy philosophy.

I bought this book and then paid $3.99 for one day shipping, because I needed it for school the next day. I bought this and was happy, because it said it was the MyThinkingLab series, which was suppose to mean, it came with the etext. The next day, I received it and to my surprise, it didn't have it! The book was in very good shape, but I really wanted the etext. I contacted Amazon about the issue, they told me if I wanted the etext, I would need to return this book and purchase the book where the etext actually came with the book, a price difference of $30-$40, depending on if you got the new or used version. Amazon did refund my shipping fee, however they really need to retitle this, it is misleading!!

Arrived as promised. Pleasantly surprised that book is in much better condition than rated.

The book came in the condition I was expecting- fair. The book came promptly and was exactly what I needed at a great price. Can't complain!

The book is in great shape and the price was unbelievable. My PHIL 191 class required the 5th edition but I took a chance and order this instead, my professor was fine with me using this edition instead and I saved a bunch of money in the process. Thank you!

This product to start off was not shipped in a very appropriate manure, because when I recieved the book in the mail it had a crease going down the front side. This was because it was a paper back book, and they didn't mail it to me in a hard covering. Secondly the title description says in parenthesis "(MyThinkLab Series)" this lead me to believe that this product was going to include everything from the mythinklab series including the Etext, which in my case it did not. I was very unhappy to see that this was not included and I am not satisfied with the purchase.
