Review: Does the job - hopefully we will have a fly-free summer! - I was on my way to the kitchen windowsill with this when it caught its first fly! The only downside, but not worth knocking a star off for, is the very battered and flimsy box it came in, designed to hold the 'stick' and potentially hide the sight of captured flies from the squeamish. If it had been better packed and had not been squashed before receipt, this would probably by okay, but the stick is so very sticky, it had stuck to the inside of the box and it took a bit of careful teasing to get it free. However, that aside - and I have fed back to supplier - this is an ace thing and I shall be stocking up for the summer, always assuming we actually ever have one!
Review: Rubbish - Rubbish had up for week followed instructions to the T!! Flies were not attracted flew right by it not one fly of any kind after a week lots in house , don’t wast your money

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job - hopefully we will have a fly-free summer!

### ⭐ Rubbish
*by C***D on 15 August 2026*

Rubbish had up for week followed instructions to the T!! Flies were not attracted flew right by it not one fly of any kind after a week lots in house , don’t wast your money

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective, but can be messy.
*by O***P on 12 October 2025*

I found that these only worked when I positioned them on the sides of a windowsill - where they really came into their own. However, if they come into contact with anything else they’ll transfer a sticky residue onto it (nb:- I discovered that lemon juice was most effective to clean it off in most cases). So overall, despite being messy at times, they do work and are more convenient than sprays or fly-papers, so get 4*.
