Biscuit Finds a Friend (My First I Can Read Book )

About this for my granddaughter and she loves biscuit the book.

This is from a collection of early readers that are filled with happy, simple stories. Precious illustrations of children and pets make the stories compelling as beginning readers for 4-5 year olds, expecially those who have already had some experience around a puppy. They are designed for sharing, and show children how much fun mastering reading can be.

These books make it easy for parents to find leveled books for their child. There is a circle at the top of each book indicating the level of the book with a number and color. Pre-Pimer books are good for parents to read to their toddlers up through kindergarten and beyond where kids become profecient enough to read it to mom and dad. When your child can read and understand the PP level on their own, a parent needs to begin purchasing level 1/first grade level books to read to their child. Following suite, when the child can read and understand level one books on their own, parents progressively move to the next level. Don't put away the books they have mastered...put them in your home library so they can choose it to read again. The more the times a kiddo reads a book, the better they understand and this is what promotes reading! Finally, the books are fun to read, not boring. A majority of the stories come from award winning children's book authors and illustrators.

This is a simple book with a simple story, perfect for little ones. It was the favorite of my now 11-year-old. And now it is the favorite of my 2-year-old.

This is a great product. My daughter and I love to read the Biscuit books, and this book and CD set has been one of her favorites. She is 3 years old, and listening to the CD over and over again has helped her learn to follow the story in the book on her own. I like the sound of the narrator's voice, too. It is very calming, even when the story is played over and over and over again by my daughter!

This book is so good in its simplicity. My three year old was glued to the page and fully understand the emotions of each situation. It spoke to the things little ones worry about: being lost, getting back home, making a friend, etc. Precious.

2 year old child loves these books. She's starting to identify the word "woof", as well as a couple other words. Even though I believe the age is 4+ we read them fine. I just wish I could purchase a collection at a time. $4.99 or $3.99 each adds up quickly. Also, my child will not sit for books... but she will for these books so... we read a lot of them.

Very good book for the toddlers just learning to read. My child enjoyed it thoroughly.

幼児用英語教材として購入しました。絵柄がソフトでなじみやすくかわいいです。文章も簡単で読み聞かせしやすいです。ＣＤもついているので、発音に自信がなくても子どもと一緒に読めるのがありがたいです。内容はBiscuitと飼い主の女の子が散歩中にちいさなお友達を見つけるという、かわいくてほっこりしたお話です。同じシリーズの他の話も読んでみたいと思いました。
