Goldfish Chinese Curry Sauce (405g)

🇬🇧 ex-pats - this is the real deal British Chinese curry sauce. Add cumin and coriander and bosh. Little paprika and chilli for a bit of a kick and you get the slightly red version so see sometimes. Fantastic.

This tastes EXACTLY like Chinese takeout curry!! (Not Japanese curry) There is probably enough to make 6-7 family meals out of it, so guess who’s not gonna be buying $15 curry again! 👍

Discovered this while researching Chinese Fakeaway recipes. Recommended by Ziangs for Chinese Chicken Curry — and it delivers! Just poach a chicken breast, sauté onion and bell pepper, add this paste with water, and you're done. Absolutely delicious and tastes just like a takeaway. No wonder so many restaurants use it!

Wonderfully seasoned & so easy to use. I made a chicken curry in the InstaPot using this & it was SO tasty. It is a mild flavor so if you crave heat, you’ll have to add something like cayenne pepper.

Pricey but yummy

Personally, l was very disappointed with it, but l may have had the ratio of paste/water wrong, as the directions are somewhat vague. Many of my fellow Brits says that this product is awesome, and just like u buy in the Chinese take away. I didn't find that to be the case, sad to say.

I absolutely love this curry sauce. I wish they stocked the ‘hot and spicy’ one too because that’s my favourite. My tip is: start with a little bit of water and keep adding as you blend and heat. Lovely on chips/fries!

Love this sauce. So tasty

It arrived quicker than expected and tastes amazing! However, only 4 stars because the packaging needs to be improved as there was leaks from the oil upon delivery, packing peanuts is not sufficient for this type of product.

Good tasting curry. Mine leaked in transit and the oil layer was lost. I add oil and fish sauce when diluting.
