Bought this for my 6 year old, she absolutely loved it. Super easy to use, took her a couple hours to complete. All the colors did come all mixed together but it didn’t create any issues. It was so cute at the end and she felt very proud for finishing it herself. Great price for an adorable craft.

These pillow crafts are fantastic! Great craft to keep a kid busy without using a screen, and then they have a cute little decorative pillow when they're done! And if you mess up, you can just pull the fabric out and fix it! Poking the little fabric pieces through the pillow is also very satisfying in an old Lite-Brite sort of way.

Gift for my 7yr old granddaughter. I wanted her to have a successful crafting experience, as so often a child will get frustrated & give up when they don't see quick results. This proved to be perfect for her and she loved it! Easy to follow instructions, kept her interest & she completed it in no time... now wants more projects like this to work on - Yay!!! She is proud to display in her room & wants to show it off to anybody who will oblige, LOL.

five year old grand daughter was able to do this alone. Satisfying craft that came out quite pretty. She keeps it on her bed.

First, HINT the stick’s edge should align with a dot to make it easy to penetrate the surface. If the stick doesn’t go in easily, do not push it, but align it with the dot more carefully to avoid breaking the stick. My 5.5 year old granddaughter was very excited to create a pillow gift for her little brother’s birthday (turning 4), especially because it was the first time she would be giving him a real gift made by herself. She was carefully studying and following instructions and completed most of it on her own. I had to take over just at the end when the plastic stick was close to breaking, bending when pushed and not performing as before (she was pushing the stick hard when it did not go in easily-I figured out the aligning part only at the end, when I was finishing the pillow for her, and even though I explained it to her, at that point we did not want to risk it trying to complete it on her own.) She was very proud of herself for creating her own gift for her brother. As far as I was concerned, this pillow ended up being a gift for both my granddaughter and my grandson.
