Super bright, sturdy, easy to install and stays secure. Used on slow blink, I have yet to need changing the batteries. You can also unclip it from the mount and hang it on a vest for running. People who say the mounting is poor or it won't turn on are probably morons who can't figure out simple electronics or simple mechanical fasteners. The light turns on by pressing and holding the switch like many of today's electronics do and the mount easily attached to anything cylindrical. You just have to be sure the light is properly locked onto the mounting bracket with an audible "click" I have the red one mounted to my rear trunk bracket, debunking the dufus who says you can't mount it to anything that holds baskets or cargo.

We bought this rear safety light on the recommendation of a bike touring company that does multi-day cycle outings. It was really easy to attach to the back of the bike and has multiple settings for the light (i.e., always on, flashing quick and flashing slow). I use the light at both dawn and dusk as well as dark. The light is bright and can be seen from quite a distance and is far more noticeable than simply having a reflector.

I've used CatEye headlights, tail lights, and cycle computers for many years. They're great, reliable,dependable, and stylish. This Omni 3 tail light will help keep the rider visible in traffic. Their Omni 5 head and tail lights are a little brighter... but the Omni 3s do a great job in most traffic situations. I love and highly recommend 'em all!

I'm a bike commuter, I've been putting this through the paces for about a month and it has held up great. I've been through snow, sleet and rain and it's been dead reliable which is the most important thing. I'm using it as a second/backup light, it's mounted to my rear rack with the dedicated rack mount (sold separately) and it's very secure. Pot holes and riding small sections of dirt path have been no problem. Dropping one star because while the brightness is good, it's not as bright as some other options (i.e. Cygolite Hotshot), so I don't think I'd consider it for daylight visibility. It also uses 2 x AAA instead of USB rechargeable, but I knew that going in. Overall it's been a solid light and an excellent bang for the buck.

I purchased the front and rear mount light kit. I found them easy to install and the mounting kits versatile. I mounted the front flashing light on my steering column and I was able to mount the rear light on my carrying rack. Thick split rubber tubing is provide for this type of mounting situation. I just had to trim it a bit to make it work, no big deal. I had read a review were someone said that the tail light fell out of the mount. Once they are clipped in properly and "snap in", they are not falling out. They also swivel up and down and the light lens pops off with the aid of a coin for easy AAA battery changing. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I installed the two included AAA batteries and pressed the small rubber cap covered on/off switch, nothing happend. Double checked the battery polarity and it was correct. Tested again and still nothing. Put it all back into the box and requested a refund. I didn't belive these lights are tested before shipment, from the factory. Mfg defect!

I have an Omni 3 rear light, and this is the same thing but with a clear lens instead of red. It's cheap, bright, and has 3 settings: steady, blinking, and rapid (fast alternating strobe). Long press the button turns the light on and off, short press changes patterns. I like this since I got tired of my old light which involved cycling through the patterns just to turn it on and off. This light spreads the light over a wide angle, so it's not really good for seeing in the dark, but rather to be seen by drivers. AAA batteries, easily replaceable. Easy mounting system is removed easily but holds tight when installed. The light itself is also easily removable and it comes with a clip so you can attach it to your bag/belt when not riding. Highly recommended.

The CATEYE Bike safety lights are bright, thin, and easily fit to both the handlebars and back post of the bike. A nice plus was that batteries for each light were included. I am very happy with the lights so far.

Pratiquant le vélo tous les jours, j'avais besoin d'un éclairage supplémentaire à fixer sur le siège enfant de mon fils. Le produit est livré dans une boîte. Il comprend le feu, le système de fixation CatEye, une pince pour accrocher aux vêtements, un jeu de piles une entretoise et une notice. Le feu et le système de fixation semblent en plastique de qualité. Le montage est très simple, il suffit de clipser le mode de fixation choisi (la pince en ce qui me concerne). L'insertion des piles est aisé, il suffit d'ouvrir le boîtier et de le refermer. On découvre à l'ouverture un joint qui assure l'étanchéité. Le feu s'allume grâce à un bouton sur lequel il faut exercer un appui long. Trois modes d'éclairage sont disponibles : un continu et deux clignotants. L' éclairage rouge est vraiment puissant et visible à 180 degrés, je suis vraiment séduit par ce produit. Soy ciclista desde los inicios de los '90 y Cateye siempre ha sido una marca de referencia en cuenta kilómetros. Hoy en día, viendo este producto, puedo decir que siguen al pie del cañón en calidad. Estuve mirando luces en varias plataformas on line y finalmente encontré esta. Vi los comentarios de los compañeros anteriores y me decidí. Características: Luz 360º: básicamente significa que la parte de atrás de la luz también es transparente, con lo que desde delante, en plena noche, se te verá. 3 leds potentes. 3 modos. Rápido, flash y fijo. Si hemos utilizado, por ejemplo, el flash y lo apagamos... tiene hasta memoria, y al encenderlo se queda en el modo en el que lo habías dejado. El soporte de la tija esta increíblemente bien pensado. Robusto, fiable y rápido de montar, no tiene misterio alguno. Es water resistant. Si llueve dudo que se estropeé, lleva un anillo alrededor de plástico entre las dos piezas de la luz par evitar que entré el agua. Chapeau. Trae además para ponerlo en clip en la ropa, por si vamos a correr o a andar. Me he explayado en la revisión porque me ha sorprendido que algo tan pequeño esté tan bien pensado. Lo recomiendo ! En las fotos podéis ver la caja, el botón para encender (tipo caucho), el interior del aparato, el anclaje y la luz que ofrece.
