It is foam and easy to put together, so much so that my daughter didn't take a very long to get all of them together. Of course she liked that it was pretty easy but for the money, I would have preferred it be a bit more challenging so as to take up more time. It had an educational booklet to go with it so I liked that a lot and so did she. Bottomline, interesting way to learn that she won't soon forget and she has liked putting them on display in the playroom. I saw another product made by the same company and I will get for next Christmas now that I now she likes this type item.

At first, the contents of the box may seem overwhelming, but just be sure to do one monument at a time, and they turn out to be very well designed (balancing simplicity with looking pretty good once assembled). It's a fun way to teach a young one about different parts of the world. Some of them are a bit tricky and will require an adult, but there are plenty of simple tasks you can delegate to engage a young one. In summary, we had a lot of fun putting these together, and they look really good/fun put on display, showing to grandparents over video call, etc.

My son was thrilled to put these together. It is easy enough for a four year old to make and they look really nice. Ours are displayed on our mantel.

My daughter used it for a school project and it was great. A little small, but still got the job done.

I bought this for my niece who was turning 6. She loves puzzles and is having a fantastic time building the monuments in this set. Definitely a gift that sparks curiosity and encourages problem-solving in youngsters.

My 10 year old thoroughly enjoyed this model kit, the instructions were easy to follow. The foam pull outs are clearly marked and once made the models look amazing, bright and interesting. Wish there were other models in this range.
