Can This Cash Drawer Connect Directly To A POS By USB?

No. This cash drawer does not have a USB port and cannot connect directly to a POS device by USB. It connects to a receipt or thermal printer using the included RJ12 cable, then the printer connects to your POS system.

How Does The Auto-Open Function Work?

The drawer can open automatically when connected to a compatible receipt or thermal printer with a cash drawer port. Your POS software and printer must support cash drawer opening signals. It can also be opened manually with a key.

Can I Use It Without A Printer Or POS System?

Yes. If you do not connect it to a printer, the drawer can still be used manually with the key. Automatic opening requires a receipt or thermal printer connection.

What Do The 3 Lock Positions Mean?

The 3-position lock supports printer-triggered opening, manual key opening and locked mode. This helps control access during checkout, shift changes, closing checks and staff handover.

Is This Cash Drawer Suitable For Outdoor Or Humid Areas?

This cash drawer is intended for indoor use. In humid environments, the lock may require occasional maintenance to keep the turning action smooth. For best performance, keep the drawer in a dry indoor checkout area.
