This lovely spoon was hand carved with primitive tools from the fallen branches of a windswept black cherry tree by spoon maker Aaron Clapp. Inspired by the natural shape of the wood this artist made piece takes on an organic form that embodies the spirit of sustainability. . This spoon will be a joy to use and can be displayed as a work of art. It would make a fine eating spoon. Finely crafted spoons will retain their value for a lifetime. This spoon measures 7 1/4 inches in length with a spoon bowl that is 1.5 inch wide and 2 inches long. It holds about a half a tablespoon. All my bowls and spoons are finished in my signature finish made with all natural flax oil and beeswax. They are 100 percent organic and food safe.
