Sole Sticker - Crystal Clear 3M Sole Protector for Christian Louboutin Heels

These are so needed with Christian Louboutin shoes. Just make sure when you measure the sole, you make sure the protector covers the WHOLE bottom to include that little bit of side that meets the leather shoe. I wore mine in St Lucia on the Beach and at a wedding all night dancing like a maniac and my soles are gorgeous. I did replace them when I got home; that was a personal preference, I prefer new and shiny.

If you are going to invest in a pair or two or more of Louboutin shoes, you will want to invest in protecting them as much as you can. What I like most about these is that they are transparent and look very elegant but only for your heels. The others appear to look like a cloudy haze on the shoe, taking away from the signature red bottom. These allow you to still have the elegance of the red bottom to show as if you have nothing on the bottom to protect the shoe. Cons: 1. They can be a bit slippery, but this may depend on the flooring surface you are walking on. 2. You will need to replace if you wear your shoes quite a lot. Louboutin shoes are not meant for your main everyday shoe. If you choose to wear them often, you will need to replace the protectors as the outside world can hold a lot of dirt, grime, and rocks. 3. Perfect for any Louboutin heels, but not so much a true fit for flat sandals (example: Calfskin Crocodile Embossed Cubongo Sandal Flats); but you can make them work. That's the only reason I did not give 5 stars. Pros: 1. They protect the soles of the shoe while maintaining the stylish red bottom look. 2. The protection allows the shows to maintain there value should you ever decide to sell them. 3. They are very transparent, no cloudy appearance. 4. Easy to apply and easy removal with patience and care. Many reviews complain about the protectors being too sticky and hard to take off. Much like with any sticky tape, you need to use a hair dryer to heat the tape up for easy removal. To properly remove and protect the shoe, you will use your hairdryer to heat up the tape, this will allow the sticky residue to melt and then slowly peel the tape off the shoe.

Amazing for red bottom heels. I used these for every event and they did an amazing job. Keep in mind that if you step on a rock they might damage the red sole anyways but you won’t notice until you remove this sticker.

I have used this same link for many pairs of LB's. This set I just received is not the same as all of the other sole protectors I received in the past. I do not see 3M anywhere on them, and they want you to wet and blow-dry them onto your soles. Nope. Refund please. They may work just fine, but I want the 3M protectors I KNOW work.

Easy install. Although I recommend not following the directions to a tea. Before I bought them I was looking at reviews and saw one reviewer use little nail scissors to cut the film around the shoe. I think that may be the best way to do it. I would go as far as laying the whole piece of film on the shoe, squeegee the bubble out, then start cutting around the sole carefully. Directions say to spray the shoe with water... It works but I would spray the shoe then use a paper towel to absorb some of the water and just leave it a little humid; otherwise the film will move around when your trying to get the bubbles out. I wasn't able to get all the bubbles out but the sole was uneven because I have used the shoes before and the bottoms were scratched. I repainted the areas where the paint was scratched off so it may not be as noticeable that it was repainted. For the price, I would buy it again. It is worth it. I haven't used them yet so I can't speak to durability, but so far looks pretty good.

These are terrible!! my first pair of red bottoms I bought I actually had no clue the red came off, after a bunch of reviews and research I learned very quickly that I needed protection. I bought the zigzag tablet screen protector and it is still protecting a year later. I got a new style of red bottoms and seen this, I thought why not give it a try. TERRIBLE IDEA!!!! It goes on and slides all over the place you can never seem to get the bubbles out, so then I thought well maybe it needs time to dry. I placed them on and let it sit over night, should be good right? NO!! First of all it makes your shoes a death trap, I couldn't walk on carpet at all and it literally was making the foot of the shoe slide pulling away from the heel. It was a set up to ruin my expensive heels. I pulled it right off, the only good thing is that it didn't take any color off when removing. I would not buy this ever again and TBH should of been able to get my money back, it is terrible. I am an active red bottom shoe buying/wearing woman, I recommend the zig zag tablet protector.
