I appreciate that the author wrote the book with safety in mind. Excellent real world experience and explanations. I’ve been in the business for 12+ years and I learned or relearned many things. Review: Essential reading and reference - I serve as the Emergency Response Manager for a large oil and gas production company and came across Mr. Hatami's book last January. Since that time we are using it as a basis for education and policy development and its issued to all of our Operational and HSE leadership to continue building our culture of success. This book is filled with practical/tactical tips and valuable stories about tragic consequences of poor decision making or apathy. Highly recommend this to add to your library as its rich with documented case studies.

Refreshingly fun and informative oilfield book
I wish I had read this 30 years ago. A must for young (and old) who work in the oil patch. The author has done a super job of telling oilfield stories as a teaching tool.

Basically a safety book
Extremely boring book it’s all about safety and rules. But it is good information to be aware about and know. Discusses a lot of peoples common mistakes

Seems to be well researched
I work in the oilfield primarily welding and fitting in the pipeline and facility part of the spectrum. It would be nice if one of your volumes covered more than just drilling rigs. Perhaps refinery and pipeline accidents. I know there are too many people killed in all areas of the oilfield. My brother was killed on highway 63.
