I was able to fit a 100 yard hank of 550 paracord on this. The built in lighter holder and razor blade to process the cord with are brilliant. Less stuff to carry. Super Spool Tool.

Green was all that was left I was a little disappointed however now that I have it, I like it. It won’t get lost.

this is nice holes a lighter, a rope,,a cutter for the rope . make your grab bag ready to take on what comes your way.

This nice product made in USA (yeah!) It holds 50ft of 750lb Paracord with room to spare. Has a holder for a small Bic lighter & a replaceable blade for cutting cord. The only problem is that it has slots to hold the beginning & end of various sizes or cords in place but they are not large enough for the paracord. Not the end for the world but minor bummer.

A must-have if you're into bushcrafting activities like building shelters. Works great. I ended up buying another one.

Love this product! Was thinking for a while about the best way to store paracord and then came across a review for this product. It has everything that you need to store and use your cordage without it unraveling and getting tangled.

The product is as it appears in the photos. The descriptions are not so accurate. One statement that appears at least twice is “Holds 100ft of 550 Paracord”. I don’t know if it holds 100 ft or not. But the “550 Paracord” suggested to me it is optimized for that size cord which is 4 mm, 5/32 inch, 0.156 inch. In two places there are slotted holes (“fusing notches”) I assume are to hold the loose end of the cord. My 550 will not go into the largest hole; certainly none of the progressively smaller slotted holes. The description also states in two places “Included Components Carabiner” but it arrived without a carabiner. Granted there is no carabiner in most of the photos and one is only partially shown in one photo. That one photo also appears to have cord going into a largest slotted hole. Curiously the description next to that photo states “8 multi-sized fusing notches”. I interpreted that to mean 8 different sizes. My error. There are 2 of each of 4 sizes. I assume the blade is sharp. Disturbingly the holder is sharp in many other places which include the casting edges and the edges around the notched holes. The edges are able to snag skin so they would also snag the cord jacket. I will use emery cloth to sand away all these edges. A higher quality building process would have tumbled the plastic parts to remove all these edges prior to assembly. Once smoothed I will try harder to force 550 into the largest pair of holes. If it doesn’t fit well I will enlarge that pair of holes. I expected a finished product with a carabiner. I did not expect a project kit without a carabiner. Time will tell if it is worth my time and the money. I expect it will be worth it.
