Hook for my hummingbird feeder
Like the way it hooks onto my deck and hangs over! I can't hook it inside as the railing too thick that side but not the other way. I can watch my hummingbirds on my deck and see them from my sink window too.

As others have said, the adjustment for the screw on clamp is not long enough. It won’t fit a 1” board but will fit 2 to 2.5” or so. If you can McGyver that like I did it will work just fine for you.

Nice deck hook
It clamped on firmly and is currently holding a medium weight plant basket without a single wobble. Looks good - I've actually ordered a second one so this is a product I'd recommend.

Poor designed clamp
Giving three stars because the clamp won’t tighten enough on a 2x4, the screws runs out of threads. I had to add some screws to hold it tight

Wouldn't open wide enough to fit over 2x6 top rail. Poor design.

Not as sturdy as described.
This product started off well. I put it out in May. It is now August. The tightening mechanism broke off. I was initially happy. I had hoped to get more than a few months out of this product

Reading the other reviews makes me wonder if these are a single item or multiple sizes being sold as 1 item. My top rail is a 1X6 and the item I received wouldn't tighten down to 1", I had to put another piece of 1" lumber on top of the rail to be able to tighten the thumb screw enough to stabilize it. I would have guessed that it was for 2" lumber only, but then I read the other reviews. Not sure you'll get a standard clamp opening if you buy it. But, once I put the other piece of 1X on top, it worked fine and is great.
