ESV Student Study Bible

I am a pastor that works primarily with middle school, high school, and young adult students. I find that this is a fantastic Bible for any student who wants to grow as a student of God's word and dig deeper than the simple words on the pages. The Bible includes intros to each book, outlines of the book, commentary throughout, a concordance, maps and more. So much in a great and compact package. Some of the larger study bibles can get a little bulky in the hand but this does not have that problem. You might be wondering whether to get an ESV study Bible or the student study Bible. For the price, the student study Bible is exceptional and includes many of the marks of the more expensive study Bibles that crossway offers. When, comparing the commentary notes, all of the markers of the more expensive Bible are present in this Bible even includes additional information on particular characters and individuals of the Bible. I wish the more expensive ESV study Bible had those character notes as well. I have compared this Bible with several other study Bibles in the pursuit of the best one to hand off to people who I sincerely care about. I would highly recommend this book right here. You cannot beat the price, the binding is some of the best you can find, and the overall feel of the Bible is exceptional. Whether this is for yourself or a gift for someone else, you will feel the value in your hand.

This Bible works great for students! This was a reasonable price as well and the leather is very good! Definitely recommend to those looking for a good study Bible!

I really like the ESV translation. I bought a couple of the Study Bibles as gifts for my younger family members. I think they are a great learning tool for young believers as they journey through the scripture.

So easy to understand, great quality. Sturdy material.

Pretty Good. There isn't much ghosting of the pages. The print is a little small but okay for my needs. The pages are great as far as thickness. The notes are good and there's a couple of nice illustrations. There are some good articles in the back. The cover is a bit in the stiff side and the it's not a red letter edition. Overall I'm very happy for the price.

I love this study Bible. It's actually hard to believe that the cover is not real leather. It looks very sharp and feels high quality. The only negative is that the font size is smaller than I anticipated. I have to read with lights that are bright enough to help me see the text.

This English standard student study bible provides a deeper meaning behind some of the challenging scriptures. Commentaries, maps, pictures. Reason for given 4 stars not the 5 is that with so much being shared/backed into it the print isn't as large as I would like or for those like myself as the scriptures reads eyes may be diming and it's carrying size. Thank you.

For those who are asking about the text size, it's an 8 point size, which is about a standard print. It's pretty compact, but if you have bad eyesight, or want to read for an extended period of time, I will recommend a larger print version with about 10.5/11pt font size. That one will be more expensive and bulkier, but that one might be better if you want the larger print.

The Bible is very nice. The leather cover is nice and there’s no damage to the book. It looks completely new. The font migggght be too small if your vision is not too good.

This is a great starter student study bible with great notes and good maps, charts and diagrams. The font typeface is clear, though cross reference details are small. A lot is packed into this bible which is not on the fat side given the content. Thoroughly recommended! Proverbs 16:3
