PARKER Urban Rollerball Pen, Premium Ebony Metal Chiselled with Fine Point Black Ink Refill (1931614)

I got this with a gift certificate present for my birthday as a nice but relatively inexpensive rollerball pen. I've been using some Paker Jotter ballpoint pens, which are good, but I've always preferred rollerball pens to ballpoints. I picked the London Cab Black finish which looks very nice. And surprisingly (based on the fact that the rollerball was only $20), the pen has a nice bit of heft to it that I personally prefer. It writes very well, although I should note that while it comes with a fine black ink refill that worked perfectly well, I personally prefer medium blue refills. As a result, I also purchased this to go with it: Unibene Parker Compatible Rollerball Refill 6 Pack, 0.7mm Medium Point. This is not a Parker refill but one from a German gel ink manufacturer, and these refills work great. Overall, I was very, very happy with this purchase. For the $20 price, the value is excellent.

Quality pen with nice flowing ink that writes a beautiful thin line. Nice weight in your hand. Not too heavy but enough to know you have something of meaning as you write. I purchased some medium refills as well and if you like a bolder statement those would be best. To me the finer line thickness is just a tad more eloquent. The Parker Urban is my writing instrument for life. Only change in the future will be to add another Urban... maybe the gold and black one!!

I bought a lot of Parker pens, many of their haven’t a package although they were said to be new pens. But this pen is perfect, actually new and gorgeous with a very good gift box. Highly recommended.

Very good quality. Love the feel. What I feel ods is the replacement ink which feels scratchy to the paper and drags my handwritting which is unconfortable. I will order another refill with different characteristics that roll more smoothly

I do not like that I have to remove the cover from the pen to start writing. Also the pen is supposed to write in fine print it does not. It smears.

This is a beautiful pen for the money and writes really well after replacing the .5mm Parker rollerball refill with a .7mm Parker Quink rollerball refill. I've tried the Ubene refills but the Parkers are smoother and more consistent from my experience. Very happy with it!

I'm sure there are posh individuals who will see my review and sneer but this is the best pen I've ever used. It's nicely weighted and writes very smoothly. I got this as a gift for my wife for her journaling, etc and she loves it.

The product itself is beautiful, a great gift. But the description and images lead you to believe that you are purchasing a pen AND an additional ink refill. That was part of the reason I bought this, because it seemed like a great deal with the additional refill. The pen itself comes EMPTY - the ink refill is so that you can put the ink in your pen, not to replace the original ink pack once it runs out.

Beautiful pen, the colour is so vibrant and it writes so well. Note that the pen is slightly heavy compared to other rollerball.

Leider in völlig zerstörter Verpackung mit Gebrauchsspuren am Schreibgerät geliefert - oofenbar aus einer Rücknahme. Ist so als Geschenk unbrauchbar.
