how do the sleds get back up the hill? Do they simply back up or do they go into the hill and emerge at the top?

They go into the hill and emerge at the top.

According to what I am reading a Dc adaptor does not come with the Christmas village shedding down hill?

No dc adaptor,only battery operated

Can this be used with an adapter?

It has a port for an adapter but that is not included. You would need to buy it separately.

Does any one knows if this piece plays music

Mine plays music but sleds don’t work. Just received today.
