Clear, concise and very readable
Really enjoyed the book, easy to read and follow, excellent graphics and clear instruction. Great place for anyone who wants to learn more about Yoga both the physical practice and all of the other paths of the practice that makes it so compelling.

This is a beautifully written book. I love how every aspect of yoga from the chakras to yamas and Niyamas are explained clearly making it easy to absorb. It delves into different breathing techniques and different styles of yoga, explaining the differences clearly. It’s beautifully written and easy to follow.

表紙が写真だったので、中の説明も写真かと勝手に思っていたが、 説明は文章のみであり、完成形のみ小さなイラスト(白黒)が描かれているだけでした。 しかし、ただリストラティブヨガのポーズの説明だけが載っている訳ではなく、 リストラティブヨガとは何か? リストラティブヨガを始める為の準備 呼吸と瞑想 ウォーミングアップ 腰痛 疲労、燃え尽き症候群、エネルギーの回復 不眠症 うつ病と不安 女性の為のポーズ ストレス解消 一連、順序 の項目に分かれて書かれていました。 ウォーミングアップからは、各項目別でメニューが組んであり、その後に、1つ1つのポーズについてのベネフィット、ポーズの順序、使用するプロップス、持続する時間、モディフィケーション、が書かれています。 写真やイラストがもう少し沢山使われていたら見やすい本だったのになと思います。 For beginners とタイトルに書かれている割に完成形にしかポーズの絵が無いのは不親切だなと感じました。
