When should my elf start moving ?

When the right song comes on. For my elf it's Father Christmas by The Kinks.

What is the difference between light and regular

light and regular refers to same doll. unfortunately multiple sellers have contributed to the listing details and hence the conusing language.

If Santa isn't real how do the Elf on the shelf tell Santa if there naughty or nice?

Santa is real, but you have to believe in the magic. Why else would they make these elves?

How does the movement of the elf exactly work? Magic i assume ?

Uh huh. Yup. Totally. And the power of your wallet. You see the more you spend monetarily on EotS the better the movement and cooler the elf looks doing it. And in the end isn't that what Christmas is all about? Looking good and one-upping everyone else and that one special moment where everyone is jealous of you and that elf is magic. Fin.
