DarnaStainless Steel 5-Piece Knife Set

These knives are so much fun. My husband and I have really stepped up our knife game with this set. The presentation of these make them a fabulous gift also alas, we needed knew knives. The bubbled texture actually helps my cutting, my cheeses don't stick as badly to these, soft cheese is a food group.These grip easily and slice without adding much pressure. They respond very well to sharpening and my hubby sharpens before each use.I am really quite heavy on my coolest, ceramic knives don't stand a chance in our kitchen. These are by no means professional chef knives, they are for regular use in average situations but they do what I bought them for and they are cool to touch because of the bubbles of texture.If I were to change anything about this set, I would make the knives thicker. They would last much longer if they were but they will last a bit in our home. These are a really cool set. The peeler could certainly be a bit more hefty but as peelers can't be sharpened, I replace them anyway.

Nice enough but noticed spots ,brown ones on the biggest blade. I bought 2 sets, different ones to choose the best. these lost to the small Chef Emeral set. Still, nice knives, they feel solid but not high quality, in a word the heft and weight in general was off to me. Blades have the pitting in them so they are suppose to be light but not the set i reach for, i will be giving them away.

Nice looking, very sharp set of steel knives.The knives have a unique pitted Damascus style design to them.They have a very sharp edge and do a great job.The handles are a firm, slip resistant, ergonomic shaped rubber grip.The box comes as you see in the listing - It is not in english - it is not sealed - all the knives in my box were out in the packing box and have scuffson handles from the shipping loose in the box.If you buy as a gift be aware of box and plan accordingly.As a basic knife set they are unique looking and have a great edge, they do a excellent job at cutting.
