Practice Balls

The color scheme and layout of the cue gives great visual feedback on strike point and roll, particularly for making dead center strikes with straight rolls consistent. Have played recreationally for years without really understanding how significantly occasional off-center strikes held me back from improving -- particularly on the long shots.

While the concept of the elephant ball is great and definitely helps in perfecting aiming and using english, the quality of the balls is very bad. I only used the elephant ball for about 2 hours of practice when I started noticing tiny white flakes on the green felt of my pool table. I was a bit concerned but wanted to keep practicing, so I ignored the white specs and continued practicing. Then, after a shot, I noticed a larger red flake at the impact point of a stop-shot I was practicing. The red flake was actually a piece of the red circle inlay that circles the red dot in the center of the black strip. Now I'm concerned about balance and accuracy. The balls are definitely not made of phenolic resin as is my measle ball and Aaramith pool balls. Very disappointed in the quality of these balls. Would be a great practice tool if they were quality-built. Guess I'll stick with the measle ball.
