Tenergy Solis Digital Meat Thermometer, APP Controlled Wireless Bluetooth Smart BBQ Thermometer with 6 Stainless Steel Probes and Large LCD Display, Cooking Thermometer for Grill and Smoker

I have a 57 inch vertical smoker (1390 square inches of cooking space) which means when I want to smoke something like brisket or pork shoulder or sausages, I feel obligated to fill all the racks in my smoker. When I do this, I will usually smoke multiple cuts and sizes of meats. I currently have 4 - 5 different wireless thermometers going at the same time, which means 4 - 5 different transmitter bases and receivers. It can get pretty confusing and cluttered at times.I saw this 6 probe bluetooth thermometer and took the plunge. If I can get away with 1 transmitter base with 6 probes, I will be a very happy cook, and to be able to connect to phone or ipad over bluetooth, even better!!Unfortunately, due to this LONG Canadian Winter, I may have to wait a while before I can actually put the thermometer to work with the smoker.I did however want to power it up, connect all the probes and check the accuracy as well as familiarize myself with the app.From previous experience I have found that with multiple thermometers, they have NEVER read the same temperature, but with these 6 probes, I was very pleasantly surprised that they all read the same temps and they were all accurate when compared to my trusty Thermapen. (see the pics and judge for yourself).Now my take on the App, download it, open it, very easy to operate, you can assign colours to the number probes, set each one for different temp alarms or ranges, meaning, I could for example have 5 different cuts of meat cooking with preset temps or customized temp alarms, and then use the 6th probe for the pit to monitor the cooking temp in which a minimum and maximum range can be set.Lastly there is an alarm that will go off if the bluetooth connection is lost!I am extremely happy with this purchase and cannot wait to start bbq'ing with it for real! I will not have any doubts in its performance given my experience with it so far.

I have been using this for the BBQ and smoker, and this gadget removes the stress from cooking, especially in the smoker, as I read the temperature on my tablet, in the house, at about 40 feet from the smoker, and You can set alarms, timer and so on. This is a must for any serious Sunday cooks who wants to impress his/her guests. Furthermore, and for health reason, you want this item, especially if you smoke meat and fish with cold smoke, as it needs to be kept at specific range of temperature. Oh yeah, there are six probes that can be used all at once, letting your phone or tablet do the job for you.

Delivery was quick.....looked like a decent product, paired it and set it up which was easy. But then when I put it to work this morning, for the first time in 3 briskets(7/14/2018) nothing works correctly. one port with zero reading and the other 5 all over the board in temps that do not correlate with my back up thermometer. I will contact Tenergy and go from there......and update the review as required!

I love how easy this is to use, you can have multiple probes hooked up at the same time and the display will cycle through each one. The design is ingenious, as the wires are hidden in the head of the probes, so there's no wires lying around. The colors are a nice little touch that makes the entire thing stand out. From my testing so far, the readings appear to be accurate. Perfect gift for those that love to cook.

Love this unit. I've had several meat thermometers in the past with varied performance issues. So far, I really like this unit. It links up with an app on your phone and allows you to program up to 6 different temperatures that you can label (ie: beef - med rare) It has a threshold temperature alarm that does off when it hits the correct number. Also, if you lose your Bluetooth connection, another alarm goes off to warn you. We tried it out for the first time with a $100 cut of beef tenderloin and got an absolutely perfect result. Looking forward to trying it on other cuts of meat.
