The Amazon website says this cleaner is "Not compatible with PS1/2/3/4" - hope this helps.

Do you place the brushes up or down in the DVD player?

The brushes should face down, as the disc is read from underneath.

I purchased a cleaner on Amazon thought it included cleaning solution, it didn't. How can I buy that seperately?

You want to be careful not to put any cleaning solution on the lens cleaner disc because it works with tiny brushes that do not require added liquid. Adding a cleaning fluid could actually damage your player. If you need to clean the disc, you can buy any of the cleaners online, or use home remedies like soap & water.
