I can't say enough about the Petzl Connect Adjust. The quality lives up to the excellence of the Petzl name and the functionality is exactly what I need for lead climb ascents. I've also seen some great videos showing how to use the Connect Adjust as a rappell extender! You do need to purchase your own locking carabiner to complete the system. Otherwise it is ready to go out-of-the-box and is very easy to use. By design, it isn't easy to release slack while under tension: this is important to the way it functions! You can easily release slack by taking some weight off of the line and tilting the metal piece upwards then pulling the slack you need.

Great addition to my gear. Climbed all around using this for the past 2 years and it’s been flawless and reliable.

Watch for slack when storing/belaying. Rope has same hand feel

Good overall. I didn't think I'd want or need the dual connect, but now I regret not gong for that one. Oh well! This gets the job done. It's a bit bulky on my harness and is a bit clunky to use, but it feels safe and secure and the adjustability is really nice over something like the Metolius PAS.

Bin absolut zufrieden mit dem Teil. Hatte im Urlaub ein paar Klettersteige damit gemacht und möchte das Ding nicht mehr missen. Sehr einfach einzustellen und vermittelt ein gutes und sicheres Gefühl

If you are in to sport climbing then this is the best bit of kit you can have on your belt. It is absolutely brilliant. No faff, clip it on, pull it tight and you're safe at the top of the climb. Plenty of other uses too.
