FITS MY OLD BODUM CHAMBORD!
When the original glass container broke I was reluctant to replace it because of its fragility. I barely tapped it on the side of my sink and it cracked. Was very happy to have found this replacement made of Borosilicate Glass. I own several pitchers made of the same glass from Amazon and they are very sturdy and they have had lots of use with even an accidental hit on my counter. This is the same type of glass used in medical and science labs for good reason. This glass is thicker so when you are inserting it into the metal frame it’s a little snug so you need to carefully move it up and down with a little pressure and it will go all the way down to the bottom of the frame. In my opinion, this is the type of glass needed for this French Press. Mine is the 34oz-Medium size/3.8 inches wide by 6.9 tall and the fit is perfect. Highly Recommend!!

Fits 1L Bodum Chambord Perfectly.
I bought this to replace the glass in a 1L Bodum Chambord. The fit is perfect, being slightly loose in the stand (not too loose), yet snug for the plunger so that no coffee grounds escape into the brew. The construction is solid - it is a little thicker than I expected after reading some of the reviews (it has the same mass as the original). Great value.

Exact Replacement For Broken Bodum Beaker
Great product! I was able to salvage my 20 year old Bodum after dropping it, for half the cost of buying a new one, and I am unable to find any difference between original and new. What's not to like? The replacement beaker slid right into the metal bands that held the old one, and with a turn or two of the adjusting screws in the old handle it held perfectly. The plunger works just as well in this as it did in the original, it's not too tight nor is it too loose, no extra effort is needed and there's no blow-by.

Perfect replacement glass for Starbucks coffee press!
I was heartbroken when I broke the carafe in our Starbucks French Press, given to us by our daughter at her first job, at Starbucks, 17 years ago! Finding just the glass was a miracle and it fit perfectly! Check out other sizes also!

fits bodum metal cage well
as mentioned before, the plunger is a bit too tight in this glass container. otherwise, great purchase to replace a broken one.

Fits my Bodum Brazil (plastic frame) just fine! 1-24-2018
1-24-2018. Real review here. I cracked the original glass beaker to my Bodum Brazil 8 cup / 1000ml / 34oz a few weeks ago. It was from taking it all apart cleaning it then reassembling. While putting it back in the plastic handle/base, I cracked the glass. I was on the fence about this "off brand" product. I noticed some other reviewers talking about how it was not the same size, it was thin cheap glass or didn't fit back in the handle. I am here to assure everyone that it will fit just fine and seems to be a fine thickness. Full disclosure though, I didn't take a micrometer to measure precise inside or outside diameters or thickness. I don't notice any difference between this Grosche beaker and the Bodum brand. It fits just fine in the housing as well as the mesh basket with no "blow by" of coffee grounds when pressing the coffee. Some helpful advice though... The handle to the Bodum Brazil is quite robust and it was from me forcing the plastic and glass together that created a small crack in my original beaker. As of this writing the replacement Bodum glass is $25.29 USD, the Grosche is $11.99 USD. That was a price that mattered to me. (A Common Bodum... $25 for replacement glass!? crazy)When replacing my cracked beaker with the Grosche I boiled up a pot of water. I then put my Bodum Brazil plastic base in. This makes the plastic more pliable. It didn't take long, just dip the bottom and top in the boiling water just for about a minute, the replacement beaker slipped right in with minimal effort.Overall great product. Infact is it better than Bodum? Bonus points for styling because the Grosche beaker doesn't have all the warnings about how you shouldn't pour hot coffee in your lap, not for stovetop use and don't let children play with it. It is just clear, all the way around. The approximate dimensions of a Grosche replacement 34oz / 1000ml / 8 cup beaker are: 3 3/4inches wide x 7 inches tall

Perfect fit for my Sept 2023 Oxo press with grounds lifter, as well as older Oxo with oval cutouts
This was a perfect fit for my Sept 2023 Oxo press with grounds lifter, as well as my much older Oxo grounds lifter press that has oval cutouts. See first two pictures. It seems people were having trouble with getting replacement carafes that fit the previous-generation Grounds-lifter Oxo French Press that has the holes in the frame that are rectangular and smaller, exposing less glass. I don't really know about that one because it's not the one I have. It's the 3rd picture. This carafe MAY or MAY NOT fit.I love the grounds lifter and it works well for me so it's worth it to replace the carafe every so often, e.g., measured in YEARS, not weeks. As far as the carafe itself, it seems to be well-made, fits well, but I won't really know its durability until I've used it a bunch of times and it has survived and thrived without breaking or cracking. The ones that this fits, based on my personal firsthand experience, are the Grounds lifter Oxo French Press with the LARGER (wider) rectangular cutouts, the model that was the current model on Amazon as of Sept. 2023, and a much older model that has smaller OVAL-ended cutouts in the frame. Again, see the first two pics. The just-prior Oxo model had smaller (narrower) rectangular cutouts and SOME people said this carafe, and other "universal" carafe models didn't fit properly in the frame. It does seem that Oxo changes their models and specs over time.It also looks like Oxo has gotten out of the business of "genuine Oxo replacement carafes", out of stock everywhere, so a replacement carafe like this is the only game in town if your Oxo grounds-lifter carafe is broken. May you be as fortunate as me and have this carafe model perfectly fit your Oxo frame. :)

Affordable
I have to replace my bodum carafe once in a while and this one fits perfectly but is more affordable.

Vaso resistente
El vaso se siente más resistente que el Bodum y tiene las medidas precisas para poder utilizarlo con el asa original.

Fit's my GROSCHE French Press
I have an older GROSCHE French Press. Because these beakers are so fragile and I didn't want to break it potentially forcing it in the holder in any way, I put soap and water on the outside of the beaker and it slid right into the holder no problem. It's slightly taller than the original but not a problem.

Sorprendente
