In Julius Caesar , William Shakespeare uses the most notorious murder in classical history to tell a tragic tale of friendship, ambition and betrayal. Part of the Macmillan Collector’s Library; a series of stunning, clothbound, pocket sized classics with gold foiled edges and ribbon markers. These beautiful books make perfect gifts or a treat for any book lover. This edition is illustrated throughout by Sir John Gilbert, and includes an introduction by Ned Halley. As the greatest figures of the Roman Republic are swept along on the tide of a terrifying conspiracy, a touchingly human story is revealed in some of the most beautiful poetry ever written. Review: Historical Tragedy of Epic Proportions. - One of Shakespeare's greatest...and of course the great speeches: Mark Anthony: "Friends, Romans,..." "This was a Man..." This Macmillan edition is quite beautiful but the font is tiny. Absolutely worth the focus. Review: It's a miniature book. - I bought this for a gift for my boyfriend. I wanted a hard back as they look better as a gift. However, I didn't realise it is a miniature book so unless you are a hobbit or like small things then I would opt for a bigger book.

This is a miniature edition
It was not clear from the Amazon website that this was a miniature version. A magnifying glass is required to read the book.

A beautiful little book
This is a beautiful little copy of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. The book has a short introduction. There are some notes at the end and a few illustrations throughout the text.
