Great book! very helpful lots of good insights and ways of doing business that I had all wrong, my profits are up my customers are happy like always and I am much happier and that shows in my work and its all thanks to this book helping me correct the mistakes I was making and gave me the confidence I needed to put the true value on my work and my time. I've never been so busy once I put the proper value on my work I have customers beating down my door and I can't keep up with the workload my profits have doubled and im finally comfortable not worrying about money or struggling to make ends meet. I'm not trying to beat the competition for who goes out of business first, put value on yourself and others will value , you.

This book came in good condition on time. It is a must read for anyone starting a construction company. The value goes beyond the book to web support and recommendations for other resources.

Book is very helpful for contractors. Highly reccomend. However the packaging was less than ideal and there was damage to the book itself which was dissapointing.

This book has some of the best information and examples you will ever find for remodeling contractors. Michael's perspective and narrative are perfect. I have a degree in accounting and have read numerous industry specific and general business related books like this, none of them have made it so crystal clear what mistakes I have been making with my 10 year old remodeling company. This book has made me feel like I have a shiny new toy to play with and identified some things that I must clean up immediately if I want to stick with this and someday have a life too. If you work your tail off, surround yourself with great people, do great work and have a great reputation - but simply aren't making enough money to feel like the struggle is worth it, READ THIS BOOK! This book has re-written (I know I know...... It's a book, and it in-itself was written, how could IT write anything, let alone re-write something?!) but this book has re-written how our business is structured and completely improved our markup formula.
