This VMS Racing is probably the coolest looking and functional accessory you can purchase for your 2004 through 2007 Subaru STi. Dress up your STi and stop that annoying flexing of your rear spoiler. VMS Racing Wing Stabilizers are manufactured of high quality, super strong, automotive grade ABS molded plastic. The Wing is UV treated to prevent fading due to prolonged exposure to sunlight and other elements. The VMS Racing WRX STi Wing Stabilizer will reduces the flex and bounce in your rear OEM wing while adding WRC styling. The VMS Wing Stabilizer will fit perfectly in between the wing and the trunk lid. The Wing Stabilizer will provide support for your spoiler. It will eliminate excessive vibration, vertical movements, reduces drag, added noise and gets rid of that annoying bounce in the wing. To install, you simply place the stabilizer or stabilizers (depending on how many you want to install) under the wing and secure it using the included 3M tape. This makes installation a breeze. Installation is fairly simple. The rear wing has to be unbolted from the car. There are three bolts that hold the wing on each side of the trunk. You simply remove the bolts and loosen the wing. When you look under the wing you will see 5 sets of 2 screws. The upper part of the wing stabilizer will be bolted onto these. So you remove the appropriate number of screws that are under the wing so that you can bolt on the wing stabilizer. When you receive the wing stabilizer, it has NO holes. The VMS Wing Stabilizer is marked with cross hairs on the top of it to where you need to drill the two holes with an 11/64" drill bit (not included). After you drill the two 11/64” small holes on the VMS Wing Stabilizer(s), you apply the 3M tape to both sides of the wing stabilizer and you bolt them to the top and tape it to the bottom.
