lousy replacement battery.
Battery worked immediately after installing it. It only lasted for 3 hours of listening after charging it for 8 hrs and then red light on speaker came on until it went out for good. battery WILL NOT charge using original charger meant for speaker. VERY DISSATISFIED Battery is not as heavy/solid as original Bose battery. My original battery lasted about 5 yrs. I didn’t use it all that often as it lived in my motorhome next to the house. That being said it lived through 5 hot summers and cold winters. Maybe the extreme temperatures affected the overall battery life. But I think that’s still good. It always worked when I needed it until it just didn’t anymore. Will have to return this dud replacement battery.

Not nearly as good as original battery
Original battery would run 1.5 - 2 full days of playing music in the office here. This one did okay when I bought it, but seems to be losing run time as time goes on. Original battery lasted several years before it finally konked out, this one I bought 1st / 2nd QTR of 2020, here it is August 2020 and I'm having to charge it back up every day at least 1 time. It was cheap, was not an actual Bose battery, so sure, guess I got what I paid for. *UPDATE* End of August, battery only lasts about 2 hours then dies after full charge.

J'ai placé une photo qui décrit bien mon propos. Ma batterie originale 06385 MH 45692 cexactement comme la photo 1. J'ai recu la photo 2 (06384). Ce n'est pas la photo affiché sur le site. Je m'attends à recevoir celle qu'on a mis en évidence sur le site. Voyez par vous meme.

Works great charged perfectly the first time and now I can use my favorite speaker again.

Situation - After 20 secs the sound would be muffled. Did a hard/soft reset and ran into the same problem. Solution - After researching decided to pull the trigger of replacing the battery. With Amazon 30 days return policy had nothing to lose. You will require a star screwdriver to replace the battery, within seconds my sound link was back to its glory days. I forgot how rich and powerful this speaker is. Thank you!!!
