Kingstar Oval Makeup Brush Cosmetic Foundation Cream Powder Blush Makeup Tool(Black)

Okay, first off I'm not one to write reviews, ever. BUT I had to for this brush. I've heard and seen so much about the Artis brushes and I was dying to try one but could not justify paying $60+ for one brush so I went on the hunt for a dupe. I looked at tons and tons of brushes to find one that had a similar shape, density and flatness like the artis brushes ( a lot of them have a more rounded shape) and none of them I looked at had all that I was looking for. I came across this one and I saw that it had a lot of really good reviews so I started reading them and found that a lot were from people who received that brush for a discounted price in exchange for a review. That was a huge red flag because my experience with those types of products here on Amazon is that they are crap in reality so I was really iffy about purchasing this brush. But with all the pictures posted and the amount of reviews and price, I couldn't resist just trying it. I'm so happy I did! This applies and blend product like a dream!!! And I only used about half the amount of product I usually use because of the design and density of the brush. I used it to apply my liquid foundation, blend out my powder contour and also to apply my powder bronzer and blush. My finished look was so flawless and I was throughly impressed. It's about the size of the oval 8 id say so it covers a large surface area (not that great for smaller areas like under eyes etc though as its too big and it's not good to use any type of swiping motion for that area anyways). It's so soft too! Brush itself is made of plastic and the neck is a bit thinner than the artis, but comfortable to hold and maneuver once you he used to using this type of brush. I've read a lot of reviews about the neck being an issue because people feel like it's going to snap when they use it, but if you use these types of brushes the way they are intended and are doing it correctly, that should not be an issue and there really shouldn't be any pressure being applied to that area to begin with. Your finger should be resting on that area not pushing and the brush is supposed to do the work for you. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it! Save yourself the money and try this first:) ALSO: I DID NOT receive this brush at a discounted price, for free etc etc in exchange for any type of review!! I just needed to come on here and share my thoughts because like many people I need to thoroughly research a product before I buy it. Hope this helps!

I had a much smaller version of this brush that worked okay.... But this brush is AMAZING! It blends my highlight/contour powders better than foundation brushes or sponges! It is just amazing! You need this brush!

After seeing Tati ("glam life guru") rave about the Artis brush for applying foundation, I wanted to give it a try. However, I didn't want to drop big bucks on something that might not work for me. I've always used my fingers to apply liquid foundation and was wholly disappointed by the beauty blender. Enter this brush. The fibers are extremely dense and so don't absorb (waste) foundation. It applies so smooth and way faster than I ever could with my fingers. The only issue is the handle seems kind of cheap, but for the cost I'm fine with it.

I think this is a good set for a very reasonable price, the brush heads are really soft, and cleaned okay - I did see some colored water on my drying towels when I squeezed the brush heads, but I know it's more challenging to get makeup out of very densely packed brushes. No bristles came out while washing. The handles are flexible, but seem sturdy - I don't see the flexibility as a negative as the flexibility likely saves wear and tear on the skin, giving way under undue pressure. These kinds of flat brushes really make my liquid makeup look perfect, and it's SO much easier and better to apply than sponges or fingers. I haven't figured out what to do with the smaller brushes yet, though. Highly recommended - quality seems good, and very reasonably-priced set.

I was super excited to purchase these brushes after reading recommendation as well as watching reviews by The Thinking Blonde on YouTube.The brush portion is very thick and soft, feeling smooth as it glides over the skin! It spreads my liquid foundation relatively well. To be fair, it was my first time experimenting with this type of tool and any application concerns may be fixed with more practice on my part.However instead of the solid handle I found a "rose gold" set at a good price with great ratings from the same company. The problem is the handle being separate pieces seems to have weakened the structural stability of the brushes. When I pick up a brush I can hear the handle squeaking at the connection between the black and rose gold pieces (amazon wouldn't let me upload the video...pics only and that won't show the issue). It also has too much give at that juncture. I'm afraid I will either be slowly driven insane by the squeaking or the brushes will give out at the weak spot.My only other concern was that the first and last brushes in the case, the small round ones, seem to be absolutely identical. I was under the impression it was a set of 10 different brushes but that could have been my mistake.

I am so glad I found this on Amazon. I saw this being used in a video from Meme Box and knew I had to have one. The first thing I did when I got it was smooth out the foundation I already had on because I got in the middle of the day. It actually spread the foundation I already had on and made it look like I had reapplied foundation. This morning was my first day using it with my routine and it works fabulously. Leaves no lines and spreads everything evenly. It doesn't soak up all the foundation like sponges do. The handle is very bendy so I try to hold the brush part rather than the handle just in case I don't realize I am being a little rough and it breaks, but other than that I would definitely recommend this as apart of your makeup routine!!
