Girl's Skiing Jackets Kid's Skiing Jackets Boy's Skiing Jackets Review: Nice and super Warm Ski coat. Very Happy with this one. - This is almost a perfect match to the color patter of my old ski Jacket. The zippers on it were to thin and they wore out. The zippers on this jacket are a lot more solid and sturdy. Lots of pockets for skiing. Especially like the pull cords on each side of the back bottom to tighten it to my backside. On sizing: the sizing may be a bit large as I could have went to an Xl and not an XXL. My thoughts if in doubt size down on notch. I was right on the bubble here, and still find this workable but am on an Anti-Inflation program of less exercise (Less Deep Elbow Bends with forks and spoons full of the wrong foods) and thinking this will be a bit too large next year. Love the style, color and it is super warm. We ski mainly in the Sierra's here in Northern California and this is plenty warm. I grew up in Michigan in much colder weather and this jacket would also be great there. Review: Best Jacket of My Life - This jacket truly is waterproof and so warm. This is in fact probably one of the warmest most quality jackets I have ever owned and yet one of the most affordable. I purchased this jacket for a 5 month trip to Sweden, and this jacket is perfect for the sub zero temps and minimal sunlight. I love how it's not as overly bulky as some jackets as well as having an outer layer that isnt as noisy as well. Some great features are the fur lining inside, flaps over zippered pocket to insure waterproofness, detachable hood, velcro tightening straps at wrists and there is a second section to the bottom that firmly tightens around your waist to prevent drafts or snow from being able to enter the bottom of the jacket. I cannot say enough good things about this jacket. The only unknown is how long it will last, having owned it a month I dont have an indicator for that just yet, but i will update my review when it does eventually need replacing. If review is not updated, assume the jacket is still in working condition.

Best Jacket of My Life

Warm, Comfortable, Well Designed.
I'm female, 5' 7" tall & between 140 & 150 lbs. I ordered a medium & It has enough room to wear a zipper hoodie underneath comfortably on extremely cold days. I don't know if I'll even need that though since this is the warmest coat I've ever owned. The hip area is slightly snug, but not too tight; just enough to keep cold air out without an annoying elastic waistband riding up. I was also concerned about the neck; the picture looks like it would be stiff & stand up but it's actually somewhat soft and lays down enough not to annoy me. I purchased a guys coat because ladies coats with a similar design looked too slender/small in the upper arm & shoulder area. I'm glad I went this route. I was concerned that it would look too masculine, but it doesn't; it would look good on anyone in my opinion. I'm happy with this purchase. The quality is better than average, the price is a bargain & the design is sharp. Thanks!

I have used this jacket for two winters taking it ...
I have used this jacket for two winters taking it on and off 5-6 times per day. I have had no zipper issues. It is wind proof and very warm. Even at -20F I am warm enough to walk the dogs. The hood closure is a little small around the neck and is tough to get the velcro to hold. I am 5'8 and 180lbs and the large fits well. I normally fit into mediums.. Update - Zipper started to fail the end of last winter and now has failed completely. It is 4 years old now. Ordered new version. Not nearly as warm. Liner much thinner. Now in us sizing.

Best value in a jacket I've experienced.
While researching a new jacket for overseas travel, I found good ones, pricey ones, and crazy pricey ones. The value and build quality was exceptional. A very warm jacket that fit perfectly. I recommend this.

Handles below freezing temps like a champ!
I had picked up this jacket for a work trip up in Minnesota for the winter. Temps reached down to -25F before wind chill, being about -30F to -35F. I'm a videographer that typically stands out on-site for several hours, and with 15-20mph winds, ice, and snow on frozen lakes, this jacket held up wonderfully. My upper-half stayed warm and I was able to be pretty comfortable while working! I actually didn't realize this jacket had built in thumb-sleeves to keep the sleeves pulled forward to give a good seal for my gloves, but they worked great! Granted I'm wearing this coat like this for 10-12 hours so that did make my hands a bit sore as there was near constant tension, but otherwise a negligible issue overall. The jacket is noticeably a bit larger than I had planned, I normally always wear large jackets, and this proved to be almost too big, but I assume that's to accommodate for layers. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this jacket and would suggest it to most who are in below-freezing environments. You'll probably seat quite a bit snowboarding or skiing with this.

Great coat!
This is written 2 years after purchase. My last coast was over 20 years old and I felt it was time for something new. I had never heard of the brand - did not know what to expect, but carefully read the reviews....... It is a proper fit. It is warm. It is a good length for winter shoveling, walking etc. the hood it good, and can be unzipped and removed, if desired. after 2 years, it is still in good shape except typical wear and tear. Nothing has torn or ripped and no zipper failure - no snaps failed - no stitching going out. In short, I am very happy and expect this to last at least a few more years - or more.

Great parka at a great price.
Nice weight. Because it's a shell, snow and ice brush off easily. Well constructed and good stitching. Cuffs are soft and elastic (and have a thumb hole that I never use). They are snug and fit under gloves. There is an adjustable bungee cinch at the bottom hem to trap heat. The bottom hem falls mid-bum. Bottom of zipper has a snap and velcro patches along the zipper. Zips up to your chin, so if you don't have a scarf you're still okay. Hood is roomy and has velcro at throat to secure it. Pockets are easily accessable even with gloves on. As for temperature rating, I'd say this coat is best for 0 to -10 straight temp, and maybe -15 for wind chill. Anything warmer or colder and I would use a different coat. Only downside is I wish there were two breast pockets.

Warm enough for a Canadian winter
My son wore this coat last winter. It seemed to keep him warm and dry. There was enough room to layer a sweater underneath. It felt well made and the zipper is still working (always a plus!).

Fits a big guy well.
Lots of shoulder room. This is a warm coat for a great price. The only thing I don't like is the tight fabric that keeps air from going up your sleeves - this is probably great for skiing but not something I need for an everyday coat.

Will keep you warm but middling quality and design
I bought this jacket for Vancouver winter: Wet and cold. First the good: It will keep you warm, and the thumb-hook sleeve things are a great addition. Fit is slightly small, but maybe I got plumper during quarantine :) The bad: Crummy quality: Velcro fastener is falling off after a few uses (see picture) - nothing I can't fix, but should not happen within the first month of using it. Bad design: The hood attaches to the jacket with a zipper, but the flap is on the jacket, which means that after a few minutes under heavy rain, water will trickle down your neck. See picture. Will not purchase again from this vendor.
