Great combination alarm & has to be in every house!
I was looking to replace my old, seemingly unreliable and glitchy smoke detectors. Found this product and though, wait a second, 2 of the dangerous killers, smoke and carbon monoxide in one device, with independent 360 degree sensors? Yes please. Here are my good things and few notes to keep in mind: - This is a device you hope will never sound (never have to) but absolutely has to be in every house. You can't risk with your life and lives of your loved ones by just missing a sensor/detector. - Super easy and straightforward installation, with everything required clearly written on the back of the alarm, so you won't lose it either. - It is TUV certified so you don't have to blindly hope that it works. By the way, I have other smoke alarms and water leak sensors from X-sense that work with SBS50 base station and they all work great, so I came back to this brand as trusted in my eyes. - It is testing the readings for smoke and CO every minute to ensure it's reliably ready to save you life. Of course you have the test/silence button to test it if it's working properly. - Has a little built in screen with readings which is handy if you are concerned and want to know or monitor how they change during the day, smoke from cooking, etc. - It is very loud and no matter how tired or drank you are, you will be rushing to switch it off. This is exactly how it has to be, as beside tight sleep, no noise cancelling headphones or hovering in the house should prevent you from hearing such alarms. Few things to note: - It has a 10 year non replaceable battery but it's a solid lifetime for such a device and it's price in my opinion. Just write on the alarm or it's back the day when you put it on and I also added a reminder in my calendar and then you can forget about it. - It does not support interconnectivity with other alarms or any wifi/app functionality. It's an old school, hang and forget device - meaning it will wake up whoever is at home, but if there is smoke or carbon monoxide build up while nobody is at home - you won't know it. It's a little let down but from another point it perfectly does it's intended job - notifying and saving the lives of those at home, who can be exposed to these dangers. - Being either a combination alarm or maybe this model in particular, it's a bit bulky and not so slim, in case it makes any difference to you. It looks like that if looked at from the sides often, but if you watch it from the front - it is not a problem. In my opinion it really is a great value for your money device and has to be in every home. Can recommend it. Stay well and safe everyone! Cheers

Excellent dual alarm, stylish and practical
This is an excellent dual smoke and Co2 alarm. Very easy to fit and instructions for use clear and straight forward. It's even idiot proof when you fit it into the mount as if you have not moved switch to on, it moves it as you rotate to lock in place. Testing very good and runs through an audible and visual test for both alarms and then let's you know if both passed. Battery says 10 years but I'd be happy at the price I paid if it lasted half that time. I also tested it after fitting for real smoke and it alarmed as expected and silenced by pushing button once (only added that as most know how annoying they can be when you try silencing them and end up pushing the button about 10 times before getting ready to hit it with a hammer !!) Overall excellent product and would definitely recommend

Get this one
I had another combo alarm that took AA batteries, and one day recently it started bleeping, suggesting a leak of carbon monoxide, so I was forced to call gas emergency. It turned out to be a false alarm that resulted in a lost afternoon, but it gets worse. When they come out, the boiler and gas are switched off and cannot be turned on until a plumber has checked them out, so we had no hot water for a couple of days, and then I had to pay £140 for the privilege of an unnecessary service. The moral of the story is to get one like this with a 10-year battery life, that is better made, reliable, and easy to use, with a precise readout on the remaining battery life. It was easy to set up, and if I hadn't tried to save a few quid with the first one, I would have avoided all this hassle. This one is top notch in every regard, so lesson learned. It was aso very easy to assemble and set up.

Is 10 year battery correct?
Fitted this after I had a new boiler installed. Paid the extra premium for smoke and CO detector. A big selling point for me was the 10 year battery life. This is where it has let me down. Bought March 2020, with manufactured date of 2019. Activated, ie switched on from new, and now June 2021 it is beeping every minute which is annoying and reporting a low battery. I've contacted manufacturer and hopefully I'll get a replacement or free repair. In-situ it looks good and hopefully will alarm as required but todate I've had no cause for an alarm (new boiler!). It's annoying that the stated battery claim is for 10 years and I've had it for 1 1/2 years max. For now just a 1 star rating. Update June 2021: Manufacturer has replaced this with new, Free of charge. Time will tell if battery is good for 10 years. Good response from manufacturer and good alarm (I think as it's not gone off yet) so updated to 4 stars. Nov 2022 and working well. It alarmed one day when I was creating a lot of dust (DIY) but I was able to mute it by pressing the 'obvious' button and dust gone it reset.

Good quality alarm at a good price.
Just recently purchased this combined smoke and CO2 alarm so can't comment about its longevity but it seems well made. Compact in size and much neater than having 2 separate alarms. I like that it comes with its own mounting base so to remove it just comes down with a twist. Looks smart and can be silenced with just a press. On testing the alarm it is very loud and shrill. Two different types of beeps to distinguish between which alarm is sounding. It has a 10 year battery which is the lifespan of such devices so no need to worry until then. The price was good, cheaper than buying 2 separate devices. So I'm happy with my purchase.

Reasonable price, 2 other models available at extra cost for wi-fi or RF connectivity
Ordered amazon prime mid-day ish and arrived between 5-10pm excelent service and item looks far superior to the end of life alarm that had expired and if purchased same alarm had increased in price from £27-50 to £74-90 an extra £30-20 since 2018 so only had 8 years usage from that alarm 2 years short of its 10 year cycle. The additional cost which is more than the price of this model and has a sealed 10 year battery and cycle prompted me to purchase this model from another company. Not fitted yet though from the packaging and design and product manual I feel confident in recommending this alarm, I went for the 'Stand alone' model not interested in wi-fi or RF connectivity.

I would buy again if needed.
It looks ok as it’s in full view in my motorhome, it’s not tested yet as. We’ve not had a fire or CO alarm. I would buy again if I needed a secondary one. When I pressed the test button it was quite loud.
