02041M Color Weather Station with Forecast, Temperature, Humidity,White

I purchased this to upgrade from an older model that the outdoor sensor was lost. I just love it! My old one was black and white and this is in color and lights up which is really cool. I also bought the cover for the outdoor sensor and if you do remember that it is the temp in the shade. You do have to plug this in but it has backup batteries (not included.) I really like the look of it and it's smaller than my old one so I put it on my nightstand. It has a setting for brightness level and it can be set up to dim during the night. I looked at it for a while and got it on sale which was a bonus. I would definitely recommend it.

We like the screen, furry easy to view and understand. This is my second acurite thermometer. My first thermometer after many years is still working well I bought this one because we want it to have an idea of the outdoor humidity. The instructions that come with it is very easy to understand.

I like the AcuRite 02041M Color Weather Station because it was so easy to set up and ti is easy to read. It is nice to know what the humidity is inside and out. The light display shows up bight at night. It was well worth the price.

This is a easy to set up and use weather station. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Once the sensor was mounted the RF connection to the base unit was automatically made and the base reported the readings. That's as easy as it gets. By the way the graphics are excellent, clear and easy to read any time day or night. I also purchased the solar shield. I'm hoping this will increase the life of the sensor and negate some of the wind chill. I've only had it for about two months now but it seems to be operating just fine. I did not give it the fifth star because I don't know how long it will last before completely dying. Hopefully in time it will earn the fifth star.

Bought in June of 2020. Live in Wisconsin, so temps can go from -10 degrees F to 100 degrees. Worked well at first. Temperatures were accurate against other temperature reading devices I have. 2 years in; the outdoor sensor started regularly disconnecting (batteries were new, sensor was about 30 feet away from the display unit, and only 1 wall was in-between it and the display unit), and temps were off (again compared against other devices which had the same readings when put in the same spot). Indoor temps were also off. Reset the device multiple times. Contacted tech support: I was told I needed to replace the outdoor sensor, which is $20 (initial cost was $50). Think it's time to find a different weather station that's more reliable.

I had high hopes for this weather station but ended up returning it in less than a week. The features were great it had all the things i wanted besides an atomic clock but that wasnt a deal breaker, but the display was crap. It was very hard to read the display. If you were looking straight at it at just the right angle it was ok but thats it. I had it for a few days and after getting tired of walking around the room to find just the right angle to read it i gave up and sent it back. I bought a lacrosse brand that had the same features as this and an atomic clock and best of all it was readable. If the display was better i would have given it 4 stars or 5 if they added the atomic clock. But as is with a crappy display its pretty well useless in my opinion, so i sent it back. 2 stars for having good features and the pressure reading most others just have a graph but non the actual reading.

The only problem is finding the right place to locate it, because you can only see the face of the unit from an exact angle and from above. We had to put it on the bottom shelf of our TV stand. Even then I can't always read it from the couch, if I am not sitting forward. Other than that, we are very pleased with it.

Funciona excelente con la única condición de que se mire desde 45 grados vistos desde arriba, anexo dos fotos para que vean como el contraste de la pantalla fue diseñado para ser visto desde arriba, hago notar que requiere estar conectado a la corriente en todo momento, las 3 batería aa que usa son solo para respaldar la información en caso de que se vaya la luz , igual lo puedes usar solo con baterías pero me imagino que se las tendrías que cambiar cada 2 meses. El sensor se ve de calidad , muy fácil de configurar , solo soporta un sensor externo a la vez , pudieras monitorear otra zona con otro sensor pero ocupas cambiar el switch que se encuentra abajo de las baterias , lo cual no es muy práctico si lo comparas con otros equipos que dan la info de 3 sensores al mismo tiempo. Otro aspecto a considerar es que pagué 980 por este equipo en sept 2020, lo recomiendo mucho a este precio lo vale, aparte la marca es muy buena.

I really enjoy checking the temp outdoors every morning, and checking indoor and outside humidity levels and watching the moon phases change. Use a high quality lithium battery for outside and it can handle -25C winter temps OK.

Have had this station now for about 3 years. The accuracy seems to be quite good & repeatable. (Consistent measurements) No issues. The battery usage for the sensor is low. To keep it out of the rain, I have my sensor in a firewood shed about 30 ft away from the main station. No issues.
