This was perfect for the year I was in a wheelchair. We used it at our back, sliding doors. It’s sturdy and reliable, if installed properly.

When you need a ramp for a wheelchair, you need one that feels sturdy and safe and that fits your doors. My home was built in the 1950s. Its exterior (and interior) doors are not quite as large as those of more modern houses. I had borrowed a ramp but it was at least a half inch too wide for my doors and using it was going to cause damage. This lovely ramp to the rescue! It's heavy, but not too heavy. It's easy to set up and take down. I'm storing it in its box when not in use and am sure it will last many years!

This worked for us, but be careful to measure your length and width. I got the 5-foot size for 2 steps, about a 15" rise. It was steeper than a typical ADA ramp, but it worked. Mom's wheelchair, which is the small-to-medium size, bareful fit, so if you have a larger wheelchair, be sure to measure it. If you need to walk next to the wheelchair, you will not be on the ramp. The ramp is slightly bowed in the center, which shows in some pictures, but not others. I guess that's part of its design for strength. It worked okay. Setting up and taking down is awkward for one person - you have to manipulate four heavy hinged pieces into place, but it's doable. The main benefit is having something that you can use occasionally, then put away. I appreciate having this product for our use, but if I needed something regularly, I'd have a permanent ramp built.

So, I was in need of a ramp ASAP. It was delivered next day in less than 24hours which was perfect. It’s made quite well and is perfect for around 10-11 inche steps, without a harsh incline. I have yet to secure it to the threshold permanently. I ended up adding 2x4’s cut and screwed together for additional support on the bottom. I do believe it will handle the weight quoted but it just feels more stable with additional support in the middle and sides. For the price and quickness in delivery I don’t think this setup can be beat. It’s being used in the garage from the kitchen door steps to the garage floor fyi. Will work with single door only. If you have a screen or glass door in addition to the main door you will have to lock them open.

So far holding up, though I don't use it very much. Not sure if it would hold up to every day use. I purchased it to use with my company vehicle to help load and unload equipment and supplies and use with a dolly. I will say, the slip resistant grip is quite good. Once it is completely unfolded and in position it seems a little flimsy to walk on especially near the center hinges there is a LOT of bowing, but walking on the regular path is a little sketchy as well. Watching my workers walk up and down at raises my anxiety and fears that it will buckle, at some point because it bends and bounces near the center of the ramp horizontally a little more than I think it should. That part could just be me being overly cautious. Also when folded up it is quite heavy to lift in and out of the van. So in conclusion, I don't think I would order this again.

Bought for moving company to go over stairs or truck to truck transfer. Very happy with how it has held up. Has lasted over 6months so far with frequent heavy duty weight on it daily. The ramp can be creeky but has never broken. Have pushed pianos and safes across the ramp. Definitely worth the money!

Well if u go to return them u don't get your money back iam still waiting on my refund because the ramps was to short so make sure your measurements are rite before ordering

I am using this to load in heavy rolling cases containing audio equipment up a large step and it is supporting the weight very well. I weigh 200lbs and have been pushing 400lb cases up and down the ramp easily. This will support 800lbs unlike the other less-expensive ramps on here. It can be a little bouncy when loading, but it is supposed to be. Well made product and works well for what I need it for. Bonus, it has a good grip material on the ramp and it folds in half to easily stow when not needed. A little pricey for what it is but worth the extra peace of mind.

Questa rampa per carrozzine disabili si comporta bene, solida, con l'antiscivolo sulla superficie calpestabile aiuta tantissimo sarebbe stato meglio avere una cerniera in più. Comprato per sostituire quella in legno e per un dislivello di 15Cm. circa va molto bene. Consiglio, aggiungo che aggiornerò se ci fosse qualcosa che non va. Ottima spedizione Amazon.

Per problemi con l'impresa che avrebbe dovuto anche sistemare il portone avevo bisogno di una soluzione alternativa, questa è stata la mia, certo sola non potrei purtroppo fare molto, ho sempre bisogno di qualcuno che lo metta e lo tolga, però almeno posso uscire. Tra le altre cose essendo portatile permette di poter accedere in quei locali che purtroppo non sono ancora accessibili anche se per un semplice scalino. Allego foto sperando possa essere utile ad altri per farsi un' idea, nella foto il portone è chiuso ma il passaggio è idoneo alla seconda porta.
