We ordered this tape for our semi-truck shop after borrowing some in an emergency from someone else. We deliver to a lot of out-of-the-way places in rural areas mostly, so to have a roll of this in each truck helps with tarp rips and tears; wrapping a leaking hose till you can get to the next place it can be fixed; sealing the end of something to keep out moisture, etc. It's a great all around product, easy to use and store, but you'll usually have to carefully cut it off, especially if you do more than one wrap..lol.. but that really IS the whole point of the product: it works and it STAYS PUT...lol.. so, no it's not really easy to remove, altho it doesn't leave a ton of residue when it does come off. We've used several Flex Seal products over the years and love this one just as much!

Does not work underwater

This is truly amazing waterproof tape. I used it to repair a broken car window until it could be replaced, and it worked wonders. I also used it to repair a ripped rear seat on my jetski, and it's holding up great in very wet conditions. There's nothing else like this stuff. Be careful using it--it's very, VERY sticky, and not easy to handle.

After quite a bit of research, I decided to use this tape to fix some small holes in my RV awning. Prior, I used the RV awning tape which peeled/flaked & water began seeping through during rain. I thought about Gorilla tape, but this tape is rubberized and UV resistant. I cleaned the area, peeled off the old RV awning tape, and applied this. Adhered instantly, so I took my time making sure I flatted into the canvas with no bubbles. So far so good! I'll update my review since it's only been a month, but it feels pretty weather-tight. Time will tell on this one, but I'm happy so far!

Big disappointment with this product, we used it on a couple of area's where we had some water problems, the tape is super sticky but this can't be used as a permanent fix, the tape dries out and cracks when exposed to the sun for any period of time, but in an emergency this product will do the job.

If you measure the length of tape you need first, cut to tape to length with the non-sticky separator intact and carefully apply the tape to your work, using a straight edge to work it onto the surface and conform to the surface, you'll get excellent adhesion and a waterproof bond. I used the tape to bond two 3-foot-long plastic window box planters (cutting off one end on each box first) into a 5-foot-long plastic window box planter. I had to carefully work the tape into the ridges in the boxes with a straight edge so there weren't voids that would leak. The tape is extremely stick and once contact is made, it holds. I am very happy with my results.

This is so disappointing. Put it on, but it turned yellow. The first 2 rolls had the plastic on the wrong side so cutting it was a struggle. The air bubbles were impossible to get out, the tape was already kinked and if it sticks forget about repositioning it. User error on some part I guess but the rolls had film on the wrong side made it difficult to get plush with car. (Guess that is the only good thing it sticks) took through car wash after it being on and it got water all inside the tape now. The messed up parts that were somewhat flat have bubbled up and it looks so awful. Probably won't buy again. Still have 3 rolls. The most annoying is that it turned yellow almost instantly :(

Excellant for fiber glass sink

Lo compre para arreglar una tuberia que vi por recomendacion de un canal de youtube . Lamentablemente no sirve y no sella en ningun aspecto.

Good to have for patching etc. Very strong and durable.

Tried using it on leaky eavestrough and it stuck well but didn’t seal the leak . Very disappointing
