How often can I machine wash this? Will the non-slip backing peel off?

Our silicone backing is integrated into the fabric, meaning it won't peel after repeated machine cycles. We recommend a gentle wash and hang dry—it dries incredibly fast, preserving the waterproof layer and non-slip grip for years of use.

Is the material safe for my baby to play on? Can I use it on carpet?

Yes. Crafted from BPA-free and non-toxic polyester, it’s a safe haven for both mealtime and tummy time. The stay-put silicone dots provide superior grip on hardwood and carpets, ensuring the splat mat won't bunch up while your toddler plays or eats.

Is the 51"x51" size big enough for all messes?

Yes. At 51"x51" (130cm), it offers generous coverage for wide spills. The lightweight, foldable design makes it a versatile companion—perfect as a portable play mat, messy craft station, or outdoor picnic blanket.
