At 55, I only have a little bit gray at the temples, but it looks odd with my dark brown hair, so I some bought this and it is excellent to blend in to my natural hair color. I only use a little bit from each application, but it is so easy not to look like the bride of Frankenstein. 😀

I didn’t have the time nor did I wanna spend the money to go to a salon before the trip. I have dark blonde hair, and this was a perfect match and covered the patch of white perfectly and looked completely natural. The color did fade ever so slightly, but I was outside in the Palm Springs Sun, which I’m sure had something to do with the fading. On the + side, there wasn’t an any noticeable grow out as the slight fading just blended even more perfectly with the white hairs as it grew out. I would definitely use this product in the future if I needed to cover a small amount of white hairs quickly and inexpensively.

A: No you do not need to shampoo your hair before you color. When you do shampoo, we suggest trying our Elvive Color Vibrancy Nourishing Shampoo.

**Q: Will this work on highlighted hair?**
A: This is not recommended for use on highlighted hair. Our Magic Root Cover Up is formulated to conceal grays in seconds for flawless roots at the part, hairline and temples

**Q: How much regrowth can Root Rescue cover?**
A: Our recommendation is to use Root Rescue on 3 weeks or less of hair growth.

**Q: If I can’t use all of it in one time, can I reuse the rest of it next time?**
A: Once this is mixed it is only effective for 15 minutes, and all the mixture can and should be used at one time. Any unused mixture is to be discarded!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Consistent results, exact color as on box

Best most consistent results of any hair coloring touch up I've ever used. Even if I end up using less time before rinsing it out or more time before rinsing it out than is suggested in the brochure, I still get the same look as on the box. So it's very error tolerant, and it doesn't dry your hair out excessively Afterwards, but I do recommend using a heavier hair moisturizer right after you use this product. The color is semi permanent which means for me it looks 100% color for about 2 weeks, then gradually fades to about 50% color over the next 6 weeks. I use it only for a few "low lites" in hair, about 8 strands of hair at a time, a few places along crown and hairline. Very good product at excellent price! I usually get about 4 uses out of each box. Because the ratio I believe is fifty-fifty where you add half of each of the 2 products contained in the box. Mix them together thoroughly before you apply it to your hair. And if you divide the containers up equally into four separate uses, the box will last a lot longer. Although it's so inexpensive, if you're hesitant to do that, even one box is a very economical price because you're doing your own hair color.
