Feasts

I believe this is the 4th cookbook I own by this author. Her recipes are so easy to follow, and I've never had a recipe not turn out. Everything is delicious. I highly recommend this cookbook. If I were you, I'd also by "Bazaar", "Persiana", and "Persiana Everyday," by the author, Sabrina Ghayour.

I purchased this book on a whim (just liked the previewed recipes) without knowing much about it and boy am I glad I picked this up! I own quite a few cookbooks and this has quickly become my favorite one! There are barely any recipes in this book that I don't think I'm going to try and dozens that I am actively, super excited to make! Each recipe has a super appetizing picture so you know what you're about to try and make and everything looks super delicious and flavorful. I can't recommend this cookbook enough!

This one was a very pleasant surprise. There are so many recipes I want to try. As someone who has been cooking for decades, finding a cookbook that is so interesting that I want to work my way from front to back trying recipes is extremely rare. This was written for the European cook, so in the US be prepared for searching a few of the ingredient's names on Google. However, you will probably find that they are already in your pantry, you just know them by another name. Sultanas - raisins Courgette - zucchini Most of the recipes are fun, light and healthy and very easy to make. If you like meat and potatoes every night and maybe a vegetable or two once in awhile, this cookbook will not be your style. But, if you like fun, healthy, easy and different, you will love it as much as I do.

Feasts is another lovely book by Sabrina Ghayour. I think I have all her Middle East cookbooks and I really love them all. Only thing that disappointed me when I was reading Feasts is that the first chapter has all the same recipes as in her book Simply, and I don't need duplicate recipes taking up space on my bookcase. But on the whole, the book is really lovely with delicious recipes. Beautiful photos of the dishes and very simple recipes to prepare. Jeanne R.

Excellent book with great photos

Lots of great recipes in this book. I have bought 3 of her books and they are all good.

Great variety! Easy to occasional complex recipes. Be prepared for European measurements and names (courgette = zucchini). Exciting flavors!! Morrocan to Thailand flavors.

The recipes are stunning to look at and to eat. And easy to make. A winner in our household for sure.

If you like to try new foods, try this book. Lots of interesting recipes that don't require too many specialized ingredients.

I became a big fan of Ghayour when I bought her book "Persiana," and I had to add this one to my collection. Her food is simple and flavorful and there's something about her recipes that captivate me. The book is organized into different kinds of feasts (Summer, Holidays, etc) with proposed menus instead of a typical appetizers-main course-desserts kind of organization and I like it very much. It's been an excellent addition to my library.

Great food is the expression of love for life. You have friends, love your family - then feast with them!
