Doggie Dailies Probiotic Soft Chews for Dogs, Pumpkin, 225 Count

Over two years ago, my dog developed some spots under her dense coat (she’s a Chessie) that I at first thought were ringworm. I treated them as such and they went away. Then they came back with hair loss and larger rash areas. So I took her to my vet (it is important to note I have a good vet who has never steered me wrong and who gets in the floor with my dogs to talk to them), and she decided it was a yeast infection with possible bacterial infection from swimming and not thoroughly drying out quickly. Hot summer, retriever breed with easy access to ponds…I bought it. So antifungals and antibiotics. We went through a vicious cycle of this for a long time, with the rash getting angrier and her skin starting to smell and her miserable and scratching her stomach and armpits to shreds. Until finally about two months ago I thought, Self (and I knew it was me, because it was my voice and I was in my undies!), self, what if this isn’t working out so well? What if you’re hurting your dog by trying to help her? I have a little different view of antibiotics than a lot of people and hate the over-use of them. So I put my thinking cap on and started researching. I’m a chronic over-researcher, so believe me when I say I have cut your work time in half if you will just give these a try. I landed on the idea of helping her get over it on her own by making her immune system stronger. Insert these probiotic chews. Made in the USA. Short list of ingredients. Good reviews. I gave them a shot. They arrived and I opened them, RELIEVED to find they don’t stink, aren’t messy and my dogs love them so no force feeding. Yes, dogS. I couldn’t leave my other girl out, could I? She’s a Lab and I figured she could use an immune boost too, right? Fast forward a couple of weeks. The rash, the horrible, smelly, raw, itchy, red rash was healing. My Chessie didn’t smell as bad. She had more pep. AND DID I MENTION THE TWO YEAR RASH WAS HEALING?!? As of today, she has been rash free for a month or more. Her coat has improved, her demeanor has improved. She just seems to feel better. Fun side bonus, my Lab doesn’t scratch as much or rub her butt on the ground every fifteen seconds. Just get the damn things. My only regret is waiting so long. My boss heard me talk about them and started her Corgi on them for a similar rash in his nose, and he’s healing up too. So, so impressed. Can’t say it enough. Will never go without them again. I’m not lying when I say I have started on human probiotics for myself after seeing what a difference this has made in my dogs.

I have purchased these twice now for my three chihuahuas. They really like them and they are very picky eaters. They get one every morning they think are treats and the price is good. I started them on these because my youngest is constantly eating grass, sticks, dead things, and really anything he can put in his mouth. He constantly had stomach issues because of this. His stomach issues have gotten better, but he still eats tons of things he shouldn’t. I also purchased the multi-vitamin in peanut butter flavor, but they don’t like that one yet. I still try!

These have been great for my pug. It has really helped his digestive system and made his stools way more solid. A great value for a solid daily supplement.

My dog is a picky eater and seems to hate this more than her monthly tick medicine. She’ll smell it from a mile away no matter how small I crumbled it into her food. It seems to help when she consumes it but unfortunately it’s a chore to get it in. Hate to give it lower stars.

Great probiotic and with 0 poultry products and seasoning, which my dog is allergic too. His digestion/gastrointestinal issues have been so much better since he's been on them for the last 2 years

To be honest I was quite skeptical of these actually working but I was so desperate to clear up my soft coated wheaten terriers ears and eyes that I decided to give them a try. I was tired of sprinkling pancake mix on his food and that never really worked. Our vet suggested that as a treatment for his gunky eyes. Surprisingly after 2 or 3 months of every day use of the Doggie Dailies Probiotics and for the FIRST time in my dog Ryan's life his eyes AND ears are CLEAR & Gunk Free. It takes continuous use, meaning every single day and it may take time for you to see differences but for our family this product WORKS & is truly a miracle worker. We now subscribe to make sure we never run out. I will say at first our boys did have runny poops but it makes sense why that would happen and that stopped after a few days. I just kept with it and never skipped a dose and one wonderful day Ryan had way less eye or ear gunk till one day it was just all cleared up and gone. Ryan's coat also looks more shiny and thick. Honestly there is not anything bad I can say about these probiotics. I should have included a video showing my dogs running to me when I ask them if they want their probiotics. They RUN so fast and are always excited! They truly seem to love the flavor and gobble them down quickly. They each get 3. If you're on the fence try them but like I said before it make take a few months to notice a difference depending on what issues your dog has. We will be a customer for a very long time I can tell you that! Thank you Doggie Dailies! My babies are happier and MUCH healthier.
