Good Quality Seiko Band
I have looked closely at this band and it appears to be a genuine Seiko band. The band was in a plastic slip that says, SEIKO, 4FY8JZ, BAND CHINA. I know that Japan now manufactures products in China so I don't think that it is a problem that the band is made in China instead of Japan. Also, in the package are the "fat pins" that are larger in diameter to fit the band exactly but you can use your original pins if you want. The band is a little stiff but I know it will soften after wear. I'm not sure why it's called "curved line" unless it means the "waves" on the band. Looking closely at the band edgewise, it appears to be bonded two layers with a smoother layer on top and a stronger looking plastic on the bottom layer. This appears to be genuine design.

Exact OEM Seiko band!
What are the chances you could find the exact watchband for a Seiko diver watch that I bought in 1977. The watch set unused in a drawer for over 30 years and the band had self-destructed due to exposure to the elements. Its a perfect replacement, it even has the same logo That thats on the back of the watch. Thank you!

Claim to be OEM. I'm not sure.
A little stiff, but they work and hold up as well as expected. Due to the weight of the watch and the abuse I put it through, I get about 2 years out of these. Maybe three. Either way, they are more comfortable than the metal options.

Not original Seiko
It may say Seiko, but this product is a cheap knock off of the original. For starters, the plastic is just that...plastic. It is not the soft supple rubber of the original band. The orginal Seiko band has Seiko stamped right in the rubber next to the where it connects at the watch-this one does not. Lastly, the original band has round holes that match up with the loop on the other end of the strap. These parts fit together when the excess strap is fed through the loop and help prevent the loop from sliding around. This band does not have the round holes on the strap, thus allowing the loop to slide around leaving excess strap hanging out.

Seiko Divers Watch Band
Purchased as a replacement band for my Seiko Divers watch. I usually send the watch back to Seiko to have the battery and o-rings replaced and get the band replaced at the same time. Just had the battery replaced and the band retainer tore off. Didn't want to send it back just for this so I tried this strap. Was fairly easy to replace, had to make up a spring bar tool (filed a notch in a small screwdriver) so I would recommend purchasing a spring bar tool along with the band (if you can't make something up). This is a high quality OEM replacement band, a little expensive but worth the price.

I have ordered this item in the past and have never had a problem with the spring Being to thick
The Straps were fine but the springs did not fit the Watch.
