I am honestly impressed with this heated straightening brush! It glides through the hair so smoothly and straightens in just a few passes without pulling or snagging. My hair looks sleek, shiny, and frizz free in minutes. I love how easy it is to use compared to a flat iron, and it saves me so much time when getting ready. The design is lightweight, comfortable to hold, and heats up quickly. It works great on thick and curly hair, leaving it soft and silky. This is definitely a must have styling tool!

This is a solid and good quality hair straightener. The color is as it appears. It's also the perfect size for me. I used this twice and did not have nearly the amount of damage I had while using a flat iron all these years. My hair was basically back to normal versus using the flat iron, which would leave my hair crispy for days, even after using my preheat spray. It took a little bit to get used to using. I had to make sure there were no knots in my hair, so I brushed it really well. Then, I used my preheat spray. Once I did that, I used this on small sections on my hair. I used the first 3rd dot setting, which did the job, but to get it pin straight. Then I used the 4th dot afterwards. I have hair that is dyed, kind of thin, and wavy. Still, my hair was smooth as shiny afterward. As long as I brush and use a small enough section, not too thick, it was easy to use. I alsonhave to make sure to clean out rhe bristles after each pass so the next batch doesn't get stuck on the bristles. I think I can use this way more often than my flat straightener. The hair doesn't stay straightened for as long as aftwe using a flat iron, but I'm ok with it because I would rather have less damaged hair. I'm very happy with this hair straightener.

I love this straightener. It's better than any other professional straightener & I've tried a lot. My hair actually looks and feels healthier,after straightening with the tymo ring. It really works with 1 pass making straightening much quicker. I did order the tymo heat protectant spray to use,and this stuff is like magic in a bottle. My hair is so softwith this alone,and I can run my fingers through it all day. It also helps the straightening comb glide through the hair. It's not sticky or heavy at all and it comes in a nice little glass bottle. Now, I can't speak on how good this straightner is without the heat protectant spray. The straightener has different heat settings. I usually use the highest or right below for my coarse,wavy hair and it never feels damaging to my hair. I see no steam, although it gets hot enough you could burn your scalp if you're not careful. In the box you get 2 hair clips,a little brush, and a heat protector glove,which you'll realize is a must to use. The only con i have is where the temperature and power buttons are located. I usually always push it accidentally because it's right where you have to hold the straightener. I still highly recommend though. If you have thick/frizzy hair,you'd probably be better off with the tymo ring plus. For me, this one's perfect. If you're on the fence, buy it. It really is a great value and you'll be so happy you have it!

I waited a while to write this review because I have been conflicted on how I feel about this tool, but after using it for a few weeks now I am definitely going to keep it and I get better at it with each use. The positives first are that I have thin frizzy hair and a traditional flat iron makes it look even thinner and it also takes any body out of it and flattens it, but this doesn't do that. If you want a bit more body you can go from underneath or you can get in really close to the roots and flatten them first and then twist it a bit for some curl towards the bottom and ends and it just looks so different and so much better than a flat iron. My favorite part is that with a flat iron the back of my head was always kinky and frizzy if I used it without blow drying my hair out first, but not with this. It allows you to go under and really get every hair and truly straighten out the kinks and frizz. A couple of times I've had people I see often ask me if I just had my hair done because of the way it comes out sometimes. So to the negatives, it really is only sometimes that it looks amazing and the other times it just looks good. I will get better at it with more use and hopefully every time will be amazing. Also mine seemed used and I cleaned the crap out of it and sanitized it because it's an "often returned item" I just assumed it happens a lot. Also it does tend to pull more hair than normal out because it's latching on with the slots and my flat iron never did that. Overall this is a 4 out of 5 stars. The mitt is useless. This also heats up fast and has Velcro to hold the cord which I love.

There are a few pros and cons to this tool but overall initially what I thought were total cons I’ve come around to. I have really thick coarse wavy hair - Pros: it definitely cuts down on straightening time. Because you can have slightly larger sections since the heat is moving THROUGH all the strands unlike on top like a regular iron, it goes faster. It also is easier on my hands, I felt like my hand would always cramp up using a regular flat iron from squeezing it constantly. It heats up quickly and I also like how it has a guard on it to help prevent burning yourself. It also does work pretty well. It might be because of my hair texture so it wasn’t necessarily always a “one pass” for me, but it worked pretty comparably well to my nice traditional flat iron. Cons (that are sort of also pros?): you should definitely put on the glove, because this doesn’t have a clamp it can be hard to get your ends well. But I don’t mind this too much, it leaves the ends slightly upturned or under turned and it makes for a more “naturally straight” look. So if you’re looking for completely pin straight, it’s probably not for you. My hair is still really straight, but not like stick straight and I’m okay with that. I’d also say you want to still do sections (I wouldn’t recommend just using it like a brush, you’ll need to section like with a normal iron) because hair can get stuck if you don’t brush through or make your sections too big. BUT I did find I could definitely do bigger sections than with a traditional iron. Overall I’m really happy with this. Initially I was annoyed I couldn’t get my ends well but I don’t actually mind anymore and think it looks better than with a regular iron. Also because it takes me less time, it makes straightening my hair instead of twisting it up into a bun every day way more sustainable. There’s a reason these have gone viral!

Just received this product yesterday. Washed and dried my hair this morning, then straightened my hair in less than 5 minutes with the brush. Drove 30 minutes with the windows down and sunroof open and the pic was how it looked after. Super impressed. My hair doesn’t feel like it ironed either.

I really wanted to like this. The concept is really great and I'm sure it works very well for many hair types, just NOT fine shoulder length hair. Will be returning this and getting a regular flat iron from this brand. Giving 3 stars only because I feel that it's falsely advertised for all hair types.

This straightener is amazing! Im not good at doing blow outs at home. This was so easy to use, I have shoulder length wavy hair and it only took me a few minutes to achieve a salon blow out look. Great purchase!
