Sakkas Jammeh Stonewashed Embroidery Rayon Adjustable Spaghetti Straps Dress

First off, this is about the tenth Sakkas brand dress that I have purchased (at least the tenth). Admittedly I feel that I am more than qualified to write a review on their clothing product line. I love the feel of the material; most especially in the Spring and Summer when a lightweight material is the best option. The material always seems to wash well in a cold water cycle on gentle. I have never dried one of the dresses in the dryer for any longer than a few minutes on air dry to eliminate any wrinkles however. The elastic is stretchy and the straps are adjustable so even though most of their dresses are one size only or labeled small through extra large it is more than simple to adjust to your frame. The dresses are a casual look material but it easy to dress them up a bit with the right jewelry, shoes and cardigan or shawl. I spend most of the Spring through Summer wearing my Sakkas dresses and have not once been disappointed in an item I have ordered through this seller. From shipping to stitching to value of product for money spent this company has achieved 5 stars in all. I have purchased many different clothing brands on Amazon but this is definitely one of my faves, especially when I figure in the value per dollar. I will keep ordering this brand and giving them great reviews. I have only had one time in which I needed to contact customer service over a return and it was resolved to my satisfaction quickly.

This dress is beautiful. At the neck there is some loose stitching so I can tell it is very delicate, but it is very flattering on my hourglass figure. I am a size 16 and I felt this dress accented all the right parts of me. The color is very deep, pretty much as pictured. The only complaint I have is that I went to put it on a second time and I hear a slight tear and there was a pull at the stitches along where the skirt meets the waist. It didn't seem to rip it too bad, but it is very delicate. I'm kind of afraid to wear it now, let alone wash it. I haven't washed it yet so I'm not sure if the color runs. I was planning on using it for my bridal shower - so hopefully it holds up.

Beautiful dress! Fits well! I'm "was" happy with my purchase until I noticed small rips at the bottom of the dress and lots of loose thread that wasn't tied off property. This is the second of three dress that I got from Sakkas that had sewing problems. If these dresses would have been made correctly they would have had a life long customer. No longer! they need to fix their quality control problem and sew fragile dresses correctly!

The green is nothing like the color pictured here. It is the green that is shown for many other styles of Sakkas dresses- more of a bright lime green. Not what I was expecting. I returned because the color was too loud for my style. Also, I would have had to have the dress altered a bit to make it fit. The top was a bit too loose. Otherwise I thought it was a beautiful, good quality dress, nice flowing material and comfortable.

I bought a few of these and am so disappointed after one was the dress fell apart at seems. The other sequence stitch fell off and dress shrank. I washed it by hand. It just very poorly made and the material is so low quality. Don't waste your money

I got purple and it is a beautiful color. These are kind of heavy compared to most the dresses sold today. it is put together well and flattering to my figure, very feminine. I'm 5.2 and this dress hits me at just above my ankles. I am happy with the quality and color. I was looking at the green in this style, I think after seeing this one I will go ahead and get it.

I just got this beautiful dress, but I have MANY other Sakkas clothing products so I'm a bit obsessed with them! So...what can I tell you to help with your own buying decision? 1) The dress is cut small. I am fairly tall (5'6") and sized 14 and I ordered the Plus size and it fit beautifully! However, I doubt it will fit more than size 16. 2) the dress has a lovely cut and drapes in a most flattering way- just like it looks in the picture! 3) the navy blue color I got was GORGEOUS and as I know from experience, this is true of almost all Sakkas colors & fabrics! 4) I appreciate this inexpensive line of clothing for what it is, but I want you to know that they use inexpensive rayon and cotton fabrics- or blends-, typical of many hand made garments from India/Mexico. That's why the pricing is so reasonable. Its a trade-off for great flattering styles and gorgeous colors but their clothing line is prone to running (even in cold water) and prone to fraying. That means that you should hand wash their clothes if you want them to last, and hang to dry, and you'll need a pressing cloth (to avoid getting shiny spots) when you iron them. Also- I recommend setting the colors in a vinegar rinse overnight before laundering the first time- then the color-running problem will be solved permanently! (Ritz also has a product for setting color...but vinegar works fine!) I don't know about others, but I can live with the idea that these are not super-durable clothes, because the pricing is so reasonable and the cut/colors/draping of almost all of their product line is fabulous. One last thing: I have LOVED many things I've gotten from this company and have had great experience with them...fast shippers, and good with returns: I would definitely also give their customer service and shipping FIVE STARS!

I really like this dress, especially for the price. It is very flattering and a beautiful color, and moves nicely.READ THE SIZE DESCRIPTION, don't go by the chart.I am a size 16/38DD and the 1X/2X fits me just right. I really do not think it would fit someone any larger. Also, this is not even close to full length on me, like it is on the model. I'm tall, and it hits me midcalf; like 8 inches above my ankle. (I see some other reviewers said it was full length on them at 5'2"). I don't mind; this is just a fun summery dress. But clearly this dress was designed for a relatively small and short people.Also, it has a smell right out of the package, which is probably just the dye, but I will definitely have to wash it before wearing.

Love the colour and the material. Fits nice I am 165 lbs /5'7". Ordered L/XL.

Das Kleid ist einfach nur toll; der Stoff ist leicht und angenehm und sieht edel aus.Bei einer Kleidergröße 40/42 und einer BH-Größe 85 B habe ich es in 1X/2X genommen und passt ausgezeichnet.Beim waschen (30 Grad Schonwäsche in einem Wäschesack) ist die Farbe zwar ausgeblutet, aber das blau ist noch immer sehr schön.Klare Kaufempfehlung !

I love this dress! I have a large bust (40E) and I ordered the 1x/2x and it fits perfectly. It's very comfortable to wear and I had lots of comments on how beautiful it is. I bought it in turquoise and loved the colour. It looks even better on than it does in the picture. My granddaughter even said I looked very slim in it!!! Hence I have already ordered and received another in a different style. I would advise you to wash it before wearing it though as it did dye my bra slightly. But I will wear a dark bra under it next time anyway, so no problems! Both my orders arrived within 2 days! Exceptional service!! I will definitley be back to buy more in the very near future!

Modeled on tiny person. Looks longer than it is. Only knee length. I gave to charity.
