Tiefgang fehlt

Es gibt exotische Themen wie das Entwerfen von Spice Modellen für die es keinen Buch-Markt gibt. Millionen von Menschen benutzen Spice Modelle, aber nur eine Handvoll Menschen entwickeln Spice Modelle. Das Buch von Massabrio ist wahrscheinlich das beste Buch über das Thema, aber leider ist es nur eine Einleitung in das Thema. Etwas mehr Tiefgang gibt es in Application Notes. Und vieles muss man als Spice Modell Entwickler selbst herausfinden.

Obwohl auf dem Stand von 1993: Ein immer noch wichtiges Grundlagenwerk

Dieses Buch ist als Bindeglied zwischen Halbleiterphysik und Simulationsmodell (Spice) wichtig für diejenigen, die sich intensiv (wissenschaftlich) mit den Halbleitermodellen auseinandersetzen. Es ist eine Taschenbuchausgabe als Nachdruck des 1993 erschienen Standardwerks in englischer Sprache.Alle (minimalen) Verbesserungen oder Ergänzungen an den Spice-Modellen, ab 1994, fehlen natürlich. Dennoch hat mir das Buch weitergeholfen und es wird wohl auch anderen Spezialisten weiterhelfen. Ich finde es daher empfehlenswert => 4 Sterne.
