WIl this work with an insteon dimmer, according tot he reviews teh 26 watt model did not?

Insteon dimmers require a minimum 25W load, hence will dim poorly. see manual on insteon site, /documentation /2474DWH-en.pdf

If i use a megnetic driver, do i still need a magnetic low vpltage dimmer switch or can i use a more basic led dimmer switch?

You can use a more basic dimmer, a complete list on our spec sheet., i.e Leviton 6631

What is the physical size of this unit?

Size is listed in the details: Size: 3.56" L x 1.63" W x 0.75" H (90.9mm L x 41.4mm W x 19mm H)

Does the ac input have a ground connection? i see that there are three terminals neutral, load and unmarked. is the unmarked unused or is it a ground?

This LED driver is class 2, therefore is isolated and does not need a ground connection. However, The center pin is Ground, and can be connected if you wish.
