Bare Decor Premium Teak Cleaner for Home & Marine Use, 16oz, White

We used this on our shower tiki bench. It worked GREAT! I’ve been looking for something that didn’t seem like a ‘paint’ and this is just what is says, an oil. It applied very easily and looks really nice. We applied about a month ago and it’s holding up perfectly.

I used this teak oil on a new potting table. Application was easy using a small brush and small amounts of teak oil poured from the convenient plastic bottle into a paper coffee cup. I worked outdoors in indirect sunlight. A soft rage was seldom needed to wipe up drips, runs, or excess oil. Left for a few hours, the oil was readily absorbed and the table ready for use. It is that simple. Clean up consists in disposing of the paper cup and disposable brush and soft rag. The finish looks great.,

I have a dining room full of genuine Danish Modern furniture that my parents bought in the early 1960s. I grew up with it, moved away from it, and eventually inherited it. I've spent the last two decades trying to find a good teak oil. THIS IS THE STUFF RIGHT HERE. The last product I used left a lacquer finish which meant I spent hours with 0000 steel wool and mineral spirits removing it prior to applying the Bare Decor Oil. The pics are of furniture that's seen hard daily use for 50+ years and was just stripped down, then had this oil applied as per instructions. Look at that gorgeous color. Look at the warmth of the wood. I did a second application in a couple of places, but mostly it was a single application and cleaning up with a clean cloth that yielded these results.

This stuff is like a miracle cure! We bought a used boat and the table appeared neglected. I was given several suggestions for how to bring it back to life. I bought all of the stuff planning to sand it and apply a marine varnish...then I saw a similar table in a neighbors boat and asked how they kept it looking beautiful. They told me they used a real oil. I researched products and found this one on amazon. I applied one coat last night, waited five mins per instructions to wipe excess and then I applied a second round this morning. I’m still waiting for round two the soak but even after the first coat I was amazed at the outcome. I’ve included a picture of before, 12 hrs after one coat, and while the second coat is soaking.

This is a very easy product to use. It goes on smoothly and easily for a nice even coat. I bought it to use on a eucalyptus patio set. Once absorbed, the table and chairs are well protected and have a nice subtle sheen to them. There is an oder so be sure to use in a well ventilated area. The garage where we used it had a lingering oder for a few days but it does disappear. I will buy this oil again as my furniture requires it but after treating a nice size table and four chairs there is plenty left.
