I bought this after having used the big ball that comes in a package like this. That’s what I thought I was getting. I like this better because it’s a whole bunch of little balls, like big orbies. I was able to use some in my outdoor breeder tanks and I can sit right next to them with no stink. Also, my pond is not huge, maybe 500 gallons or less. 3 ducks use it all day long so it’s full of duck poop. There are some tiny life forms in there that clean up what they can, and then a couple filters that clog immediately with feathers, and this bacteria plus that big ball one. Their pond doesn’t stink. It looks like the water from a bigger pond…not clear but not gross or a concern for their health. So worth it!! I’ll buy forever

I’ve used this product for two years in a row and very satisfied with it. Used it last year with our new pond so added it again this spring to jump start the beneficial bacteria. Pond remains crystal clear!

From pictures I thought I was ordering a solid ball but what I received was a container with several small gel balls. It’s been about two weeks with no significant change.

I have had my pond for over ten years and I can honestly say the water has never been this clear, and my pond is over populated to boot.

I have been using these to speed up bacterial colonization of the biofilter in my fish tank canister filter and it worked well. After only 2 weeks the tank was completely cycled with no detectable Ammonia, nitrites, or nitrates and water is crystal clear. Once I dig out a koi pong I'll certainly be using the larger version of this companies product.
